Afro-Tech and Deep House | Blanka Mazimela | Live at Mbhashe River, South Africa
Mbhashe River is the ancestral border between amaXhosa, abaThembu, amaMbovane and amaGcaleka. It is historically a place of refuge; as Xhosa cattle would be stored across the river for protection during the Frontier Wars. A place of life; nourishing the nations as it flows.
Off the banks of the river, Nelson Mandela would be born and raised until manhood by its life force. Feeding the dream of a free and united South Africa. Off these banks too, Blanka Mazimela would call home.
In gratitude to the majestic stream, Blanka pays an Afro-Tech and Deep House Mix as an ode to Mbhashe's uniting influence, by bringing us together in song.
