looks nice. ive been on a 1.8.1 (not beta, release) world for 2 years now, and there is basically 0 deco, i'm still setting up infrastructure right now, hopefully though, soon enough, there will actually be some things that aren't just technical, i'm getting closer to the point where i can comfortably do things just for the sake of them looking nice there

If you change the pillars to wool or snow or birch logs, it adds more colour and frees up some precious sand
