Here is something for yeh. Not a matter of an opinion but a matter of being a man. Honor in one self. Carry yourself out. But then again you people are English.
Sam maade me cry so bad
Deadset legends, absolute madlads
Silencio comenzó mi novela
I was expecting a very different Colin Flaherty, the one who recently passed away and who wrote "White Girl Bleed a lot" and "Don't Make the Black Kids Angry" Toobad...
I could never walk this far, let alone run. The mental strength is what keeps me watching these videos. Absolutely amazing
Great documentary.
Honestly watched this about 10 times. Even ran with it playing in my ear. Best motivator I’ve had for running. Can’t get enough of it
I’m the same!
First class documentary, inspiring
i choked up multiple times
The editing, music and overall quality of this movie is very impressive. You deserve way more views and followers. Respect to every runner who does this kind of race. It is very inspiring for me to get back in shape and stay motivated during the hard times. I would love to see every year a documentary about your backyard ultra race and the people who participate in it. I bet, there are always some inspiring stories to film and tell. Greetings from Germany ❤
Oh my God. That's beyond human stuff.
1:10:56 "... Big boyz... We are the big boyz." Hell yeah!! It's was amazing to watch this. Thank you!!
I've never seen a running documentary like this it's amazing great work. These guys are just built differently!!
I've been practicing for a 40+ day fast to cause a natural release of my DMT. Harvey was able to do it in 4 days. His euphoric visions in the woods was an authentic "near death experience". Changed his life forever and he goes on to break the record with 108 yards at the Big Dogs Ultra in Nov 2023. Beyond Inspired. I'm heading out for a run.
There are some amazing Ultra documentaries on UA-cam and I’ve watched many of them, some more than once…but this one has the edge over all of them. Just wow. Thank you so much and total respect and admiration for everyone runner and those who supported them and brought this documentary to our screens 🙏🏻💙
Just finished. What a crazy ride. Thanks for making this docco
Mi hai fatto commuovere. Grazie!
best ultradoc ever
I felt that perceived effort “hard”😅
All this time I was taking lsd to trip and this whole time I could have just ran 400 miles
great doco
that's insane
This film convinced me to enter Dead Cow Gully in 2024. First Backyard-Ultra here we come!
See you out there!
Amazed by these runners, reminds me of the film 'They Shoot Horses Don't They' all about the craze for dance marathons in 1930s.
Legit Triage......Get it!!
Great doco guys. Brilliant
Thanks so much for watching 👀 ☺️
Backyard Ultra for the Backyard Adventurer?
Last few runners are dying whilst Phil Gore has time for several sleeps and a session with his hypnotherapist. Also, the Ambo! hahaha these men have just put in a world of effort and he says "better than meth".. amazing!
putting the one guy in the ambulance who ran 200 miles and the medic says: i cant even drive that far
The runner who ended up in an ambulance clearly said he was "done" but then there was a lot of peer pressure from his family and other racers to start another lap, which might have pushed him over the edge. A runner's decision needs to be respected. The runners are pro enough to know their limit, but no one is hearing them and instead strongly pressuring them to run and chatting with them afterwards when they clearly need rest.
With respect to my family and crew they were advised to keep putting me out until I dropped , that ended up happening on this occasion 😂, the format of the race is such that you are pushed to your absolute limit, fortunately i was able to recover quite well but every time I stand at that start line I'm well aware of what I've signed up for, that's why I'm there. As much as it may look like a total disregard for my own health it's an experience of a lifetime to be able to find ones limit .
Ive just come across this, awesome video to be honest. I'll have to try this in the hext year or so 🙏👍 well done to everyone involved .
Great video - well done to the filmmaker. Looking forward to my first Dead Cow Gully in 2024!
You know shit's real when you get to 367km and there's still 30 minutes left in the run time
...and one minute later a guy's taken out in an ambulance
Whats the song at 10:39 ?
This was an awesome watch! You captured the emotion and the vibe of the backyard ultra. Daniel, you smashed it!!💪
such a beautiful documentary man. the score is phenomenal. bravo
Wow 😮
That was bloody epic!!!! And what what a show of love and support! Especially for two blokes from small countries like Aus and NZ!
You can tell many of these runners are dealing with unresolved issues that has nothing to do with running, but it all comes out when they are breaking down physically.
After seeing this film (which is VERY well made) I'm left with admiration. Admiration of the stamina that these people poses but also the courage they have. When I grow up I want be like them :-)
hipnosis is a interesting tool .
Are those runner ever be test for doping ? All cool and all but if they are doping not much noice !!!
I wonder how many of the runners actually keep that bag of cow shit. I mean it has to be pretty difficult to let that go, I’m not sure if I could
Great series, really nice work. Congrats to all the athletes!
Absolute warriors 💪🙏🤙🙏 Truly inspirational individuals Fantastically put together and produced documentary ❤
If not the best running docos I’ve ever watched!!! Captured the essence of ultra running, no ego, just human spirit!
Just came across this documentary and it it doesn’t waste any tick of a clock watching. Congratulations to all of you
Thanks so much for watching
It is so exiting!
What an awesome documentary. It makes my Back Yard ultra attempt look so miniscule. These guys are extraordinary.
I discovered ultrarunning last year, even though I'm ultrarunning yet. Im growing in the sport, step by step. Ok this magnificent doc I could really see why running is an extraordinary sport. This doc is showing only 50% of what running is. The other 50% are inside their hearts, their souls and the experience had within them. Congratulations on this amazing production. All participants are extraordinary.
