    This is a maggot called the rat tailed maggot. When it pupates into an adult it will be a bee-like horse fly.

      Their adult form is great for gardens as well. Drone flies are excellent and versatile pollinators. Underwater, these maggots look like cute little water mice! Or gigantic bacteria.
