After a good 4 months during lockdown, steam has slowly started returning to the mainline. 26th February 2020 saw L&Y class 23 tank 51456 on a short pick-up freight photographic charter on the East Lancashire Railway hosted by 3P20 charters. The Lancashire and Yorkshire tank can be seen at Burrs Country Park, Ramsbottom sidings, Irwell Vale, Ewood Bridge and Little Burrs. With what was a heavily themed Lancashire and Yorkshire event, the East Lancashire Railway held it's annual March Steam Gala between the 6th and 8th March 2020. Recently restored L&Y class 23 tank 51456 (Formally 752) was due on a light and loaded test run at the East Lancashire Railway on the 25th January 2020. The Lanky tank can be seen at Burrs Country Park on it's light test run to Ramsbottom Sidings and it's loaded test run with Austerity 0-6-0 2890 'Douglas', also seen is the ELR's class 50 50015 Valiant with a Rawtenstall bound service, enjoy!

16th November on the East Lancashire Railway saw Standard 4 tank 80097 on a Blue Timetable service. During the day I just wanted to try a couple new locations including Roch Viaduct & Townsend Fold, other locations include Stubbins, Calroes Viaduct and Burrs Country Park, so enjoy some Standard 4 noise and action.

Southern Railway Schools Class 926 "Repton" running on the East Lancashire Railway on the 19th, 20th and 24th October 2019, the schools class had been a visitor for the railways Autumn Steam Gala and was rostered to do a number of Mid Week runs before it returned home to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, enjoy!
