I owned Sony A7R4. Finally Sony made the camera much more pleasant then all previous line of crop and full frame. It is very capable canera in many ways, but the main down side is its colours and its way behind Fujifilm colours. If low light and fast autofocus metters the most, I would say Sony a7R4 is top notch! But if colours are important, forget about Sony and get Fuji or Nikon

IMHO these vintage dials of the Fuji cameras are stupid. It is simply not an old camera. It's a modern camera faking a bit of nostalgy with these dials. But for modern operation of digital cameras these dials are not practical at all. I don't see any sense in it.

Hi Dan. I am recently using Milanote. I like it a lot. I also like the way your boards are made so thanks for the pdf. I have one question though; how do I save my "template" board so I can use it over and over again. I haven't found that yet. Again thanks for the video. I am going to see if you have more video's that I can watch that my inquisitive brain wants to see. 😂

Interesting video, I appreciate the insight. I'm actually in my mid 40s, based in Melbourne, but have been wanting to move back to the UK for a long time. Back in 2018 I even had a one way ticket booked, but I got scared.. The thing is, the want to do it remains but I think I'm afraid of having to solely rely on myself. I say this because if I could move with a friend, or if I had a girlfriend or even my brother, I'd feel much more confident about it. But it just being me? Frightening. Which I think is down to low levels of confidence and probably a history negative-thinking. But I also know that I need a big change. I left the UK with my parents when I was 17 and been in Australia ever since. But I miss the UK and want to experience it as an adult. I do have dual citizenship, which is undeniably an advantage. But I worry over what could go wrong (running out of money, difficulty finding work with my age, etc.). At the end of the day I'll either do it or I won't do it. I am thinking of doing it mid 2025 and saving up as much as I can. Thanks for the insight, though we're different ages I could relate to what you were saying.

People always comment about the size of the lenses when switching. But that's because, in all practicality, you're not comparing like for like. Because of the differences in sensor size, an F2 Fuji lens behaves more like an F4 on the Sony (DOF, not light gathering, which I'll mention later). So, of course, a 1.4 on Sony will be bigger than a 1.4 from Fuji. Compare the Fuji 56 1.2 (398.25g) to Sony 85 1.8 (371g) Fuji 16-55 2.8 (655 g) to Sony 24-70 F4 (426 g). Go for the equivalent DOF you were getting with the Fuji (you can raise ISO more on Sony, so the light gathering of lower F stop on Fuji is a moot point), and the lenses are actually smaller/cheaper on the Sony system. But you have the choice to go bigger to get more light capturing and even shallower DOF. You can have a walkaround kit that's just as light and unobtrusive if you go like for like DOF.

I have the X-T5, tremendous camera for daylight photos, but once you crank up the iso it starts to produce too much noise, DR is better than x-t3 but still noisy if going above +2 stops recovery. Many of my photos from my last travel lost quality because of noise. I am thinking to switch to FF A7iv with the 24mm f2. 8 to keep it compact and light

I have the same situation. I am turning 34, already have a good career now in my country, I have a less stressful and high paying work from home job. I will probably be getting a 40-50% less than my current salary (monthly) now if I move to other country and it will be a physical job which I am not used to. Unfortunately, I can't bring my work from home job to other country. Regardless I am still thinking to moveout and explore other country. I feel like the risk is between Security (my life now) VS Dream (I don't want to look back 10yrs from now asking myself, What If I went abroad, What experiences would I have be facing. Although I can travel a lot but only in Asian country and I am planning to move to Europe. I am male and no commitment yet. What do you think should I choose? Security or Dream? It could have been more easier to decide if I don't have a comfortable job now.

You're right about one thing about Australians not appreciating the country they live. Biggest whingers - they copy issues that's rampant in America but does not exist in Australia such as Black Lives Matter, rape culture in Universities, LGBTQ+++ discrimination, catcalls and wolf-whistling, sexual assaults, etc. These things happen anywhere but Australia is one of the safest places on the planet.
