I beg to differ at the point where you have mentioned that after three weeks is the best time to start with treatment...I believe the best time is right after the baby is born also supple movement of feet by mother can or should only be recommended if the feet has that much flexibility of movement if the feet is rigid then it's better to let the pediatric ortho decide . I am a mother of 13 months old CF baby who is has done her treatment when she was 6 days old . During the course of her treatment I have met many parents who delayed treatments and faced difficulties with child adjusting to the plaster and then later into the bracing .... If your child is fit and healthy you can do it right after you are out of hospital... The reason also being that the beginning month of the baby they spend majority of the time sleeping 20-22 hours a day and hence they won't feel that much of a difficulty to adjust into the cast however with time they grow and start to get little mobile in terms of jerky hand and leg movements it gets little tough . Rest assured for all parents watching this video it's completely correctable you child will rollover , crawl and walk just as other kids would do without any milestone delay and some can be even quicker 🙂. Please reach out to a well experienced pediatric orthopedic who has also specialised in clubfoot treatment because not all pediatric ortho can treat CF and wrong casting can lead to more severe problems hence during the pregnancy I suggest parents to read through and research about the whole treatment process and phases so you feel confident and positive when it actually begins . positivity is the key all you need is to keep you little bub close to you warm and calm .
