United Captain Michael Dunn - Retirement Water Cannon Salute! 4/27/2024
My husband's retirement flight was UAL #933 from Frankfurt to Washington Dulles. Imagine his surprise when he taxied to the gate at Dulles and was met with a Water Cannon Salute! What a wonderful send-off after a 34-year career!

The waters of the Caribbean are absolutely beautiful! This was our view as we flew into North Eleuthera Airport to clear Customs. Be sure to check out the part 2 video which shows us landing in central Eleuthera at the Governor's Harbour Airport (GHB), which is where we kept the airplane.

We spent a week on the beautiful island of Eleuthera, Bahamas. This is us taking off from the centrally located Governor's Harbour Airport. I turned the camera sideways but the video didn't adjust (sorry).

At 2:18 the engines change their sound from Trance to mega bass.
Beautiful plane! Just to share notes (for what it's worth): I set my throttles to start at 800 rpm. After it starts, lean the mixture. Once oil pressure is moving to the green arc, I'll start the right engine; same procedure. If you are on Facebook; join the Cessna 300/400 Owners group. It's a great resource for us 300/400 owners.
