If an anime needs a remake is this one. The animation is all over the place, sometimes is amazing, sometimes is super mediocre, sometimes it doesn't even look like it was made in the same country, there's a lot of silly filler with Koenma and his Oni friend, a lot of stuff was censored/pussified for the anime...common, if One Piece gets one, so should Yuyu

Shit's still one of my fav scenes in YuYu, overall stands really high in anime period. A lot of people trash talk the animation style change but I'll take a graphical detail downgrade for improve animation fluidity and style any day.

I wonder how Hiei would fair against Togoro in this form, I don't know if he could win, but Bui didn't manage to inflicted any damage on Hiei at all, and it seems like Bui held his own against Togoro at least for a little bit, I'm sure Togoro held back, but it's still impressive considering how overwhelmingly strong he was at this point in the series. I remember Hiei comparing his Darkness Dragon vs Togoro's crater he left after killing Genkai, but I don't remember if it was before this or after, I think after so I guess we did see a comparison.
