I grew up doing stuff like that. You gotta learn, sometimes the hard way - no matter how hard you try, sometimes it just ain't enough. It doesn't mean your efforts weren't beautiful though - and next time, your efforts may well be enough. You never know which it'll be, so it's up to you to try or not. And whichever you choose, you have your reasons, you deserve respect. ❤

When we 90s kids and older say 'Just living in the moment, no phone in sight', this is what we mean. And many of us didn't even capture them in videos like this. I suppose it was more of an American thing. Also, early UA-cam had a lot of these nice home made videos. The nostalgia I'm feeling here is wild.

When I was in college, during one winter storm, we built a snow barrier in front of the entrance to the library. We were all wasted. We left around 1 or 2 in the morning. When we got up to look a few hours later, it was gone. Custodian had gotten a little tractor and knocked it down in a few minutes.

I remember redirecting a small stream in the Breacon Beacons, with stones, when I was a kid, few days later news reported flooding in the area, I was convinced for years I caused the flooding.

. Better if you dig from the front for dirt loads so that the ditch acts like a wave sink. Also, It works better if you load the sand up with leaves and sticks as a binder. Ultimately its just sand.

I do this every time I go to the beach I went to a water fall today in Bali and at the end of it was a river and I blocked part of the river
