bed rotting is for people with mental illness. it’s not a choice. in extreme cases it has attracted wildlife. there are plates/cups/wrappers/rotting food/body wipes/disposable toothbrushes/clothes piles/stained or unchanged sheets etc. in the room due to not being able to get up and do it. you can just say “i’m relaxing” or “i’m taking a self care day
