The last hike of our vacation in September 2024. This route takes hikers throughout Guadalupe River State Park located in Spring Ranch, Texas. The road leading to the trailhead is along private roads with roaming livestock, so be respectful to the folks living there as you pass through. Bring cash, as there is a parking fee and no machine to take cards. At the time of this video, the fee was $7. And, remember to bring plenty of water and snacks. The trail can be challenging to those who underestimate the elements. It will eventually take you to the Guadalupe River when traversing the Little Bluestem Loop where you can enjoy a dip in the river with some great scenery. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a trail that's more secluded. Enjoy!
