Awesome flying! Where is this? Do you have a foreflight or sky vector route that you can share?
The entry is just north of the 8th at Carrizo Gorge Rd. Don't recommend a tablet for the route, just do a good study down the valley, lowering altitude once you have it and know you have the performance, its easy to pick up but watch out on going back down south. Its a gradual upslope for that can get you in trouble if you don't anticipate.
