Letting Strangers Decide Where I Eat For 24 Hours
On my recent trip to Toronto, I decided to spend a day going around Toronto, asking strangers for food recommendations!

Eggs benedict is totally my favorite! Funny- all the folks you asked were hesitant to give recommendations.
Super cool and nice.
What an impressive structure
WoW! That’s Incredibly Awesome And Breathtaking Adventure! 🤩❤️✨
I don't think my camera quite did it justice, but thank you!
Really enjoyed this video, especially the Roger center. It’s my city.
Ah man the eggs and salmon looks spot on 💪 totally agree Canadians are friendly, I think of Toronto as a more chill NYC with friendlier people. Public transport sucks all over North America unfortunately. That lemonade dude wasn't very helpful 😂 chicken and wings man was much nicer. I know how you feel about filming people's faces, in British culture it feels kinda invasive. Luckily out here in Latin America they don't care 😅
That's a very accurate summary of Canadians! And yeah I feel British people are more self conscious
Great atmosphere man, must have been amazing being at Wembley for an England semi-final in a major tournament. Shame we didn't go all the way but *hopefully* we can put that right this Sunday! 🏴
It was honestly one of the best football experiences I’ve had in my life! And due to the covid rules at the time, the crowd was basically 98% English. Fingers crossed for Sunday, hopefully you can find somewhere to watch game out in Mexico!
@@TheJournalofanExplorer I've already got my spot lined up for the game 😎
STF UP
That camera work sucks
Foam finger, hot dog and baseball cap, definitely fitting in! I literally couldn't name any baseball player on any team haha. The stadium is superb with that backdrop, wow. Much nicer surrounds than Wembley or Tottenham 😂 I agree about the national anthem. I heard a few whistles on the star-spangled banner. Would be interesting if they had to sing the anthem before Liverpool and Celtic matches 😂 the stats thing has definitely infiltrated UK sports as well. When I was a kid you'd never hear how much possession a team has had or assists. 9-3 is a hammering 😅 How many games in a season?! Woah haha £45 isn't bad at all
Never been Tottenham, but I agree regarding Wembley, feels so corporate! I think there'd be a full on riot if the national anthem was played at Anfield or Celtic Park - haha I still don't get the whole xG thing in football!
Baseball feels slow paced but between every action there’s a LOT of head games going on (like chess). That’s why the stats are so important. Everybody (players, coaches, and also fans) is trying to predict the most likely play given the current scenario. If you guess wrong it could be anywhere from a slight disadvantage to possibly costing your team the entire game! If you want to see quicker action, I definitely recommend basketball or hockey.
Thank you! I did think baseball seemed more mentally stimulating sport than other sports. I can see why certain people love it - would definitely love to visit a hockey or basketball game next time i'm in Toronto.
Agree wholeheartedly on the music being too loud. It's been a problem for 20 years at least. I think they have market research that says it's worth annoying fans like us because the music makes other fans buy more.
I honestly don't get it - it doesn't even play long enough for any kind of atmosphere to be generated.
what app name? looks cool
The app is called Mult.dev
@@TheJournalofanExplorer thanks
What a let down
"British Guy" uhhhh no
Ethnicity and Nationality are two different things
@@TheJournalofanExplorer Wrong. A nation is derived from the blood of a people. Like the Jews or American Indians. You are not British, much like how an Irishman is not, and cannot ever be, Japanese.
@@TheJournalofanExplorer Incorrect A nation is derived from the blood of a people. The j3ws, or American Indians for example, are nations. You are not British, like an Irishman will never be Japanese.
@@TheJournalofanExplorer Incorrect A nation is derived from the blood of a people. The jews, or American Indians for example, are nations. You are not British, like an Irishman will never be Japanese. Don't insult the British people with this juvenile way of thinking please
It is so beautiful there. Great trip!
It really is!
You're Indian, lmao.
I'm not actually but good guess!
@@TheJournalofanExplorer He's probably talking about your facial features, then again there are a lot British-Indians and British-Pakistanis living in the UK.
Toronto has Football, but a very Canadian version of it, CFL - Canadian Football League, and their team is the Toronto Argos... great football! If you're still in town check out a game!
Toronto also has "football". TFC
I went to a TFC game last time I was here!
I'm back in the UK, but thank you for the recommendation!
My first MLB game was in this stadium too. As a South African, I just wanted to watch some cricket afterwards! 😂
Haha I kinda felt the same! I was here at the T20 WC started, so was craving the cricket even more!
43 likes no comments let me fix that
Haha thanks 🙏🏾
Is this in surrey bc?
Nah it’s in the UK!
I enjoyed the British interpretation of the game!! Things like the National Anthem are so standard I wouldn’t have given it a second thought.😂😂 you had great seats! Baseball is a slow game- I don’t typically watch but going to the field on a summer afternoon is a pretty typical American pastime (even though you are in Canada) 🇨🇦 . Glad you made it!
the National Anthem is even at the Little Leauge (lowest level of children baseball) USA! USA! USA! sry :)
I didn't know it was a summer sport - but I guess it makes sense!
Nice scenery.
❤❤❤
Toronto is a wonderful place! I miss so much!

Wow.
Great video. I live in Toronto. You are correct Union is the main train station in Toronto. The Go train serves parts of Ontario (mainly the southwest area). While the VIA rail has routes across Canada. There are alot of really nice towns in Ontario. Stratford where you can catch a play. Muskoka, which has beautiful lakes and cottages. Prince Edward County, where people hang out on the weekend. Lots to see and enjoy this spring/summer.
Thank you for the tips, will definitely check out some of these towns on my next trip!
Excellent video! Love this idea, you should try this in different countries
That’s the plan!
Nice video! If you are staying in the Toronto area, let me know. I'll gladly show you around!
Thank you!
That is a pretty quaint town- I haven’t travelled much in Canada but like here in the US- not many walkable towns. The train was really nice and clean! A fun idea for videos!
Yeah, I wish I had prepared myself for the towns of North America! Thank you ☺️
What a fun watch! Great idea
❤❤❤cool
Looks great. 😊
You should do these types of game travel videos more often! It was so fun to watch and I loved the suspense when you spin that wheel and then try to figure out where you’re actually going on the departure board!! 🥸😅
Thank you! And yes it’s my plan to do more videos like this in the future ✈️
I love this game! Definitely gonna play this at some point next time I'm in a major city (I'm just leaving Mexico City now so missed my shot). Looks like a nice little town, probably an ideal place to live rather than visit. Definitely tougher in North America to get about without a car. I have to ask, if you'd have ended up with Vancouver, would you have gone? 😂 Amy was very helpful!
Haha, I’d love to see your take on this game! Well, Vancouver is a two day train trip, and I think you have to prebook the ticket, so I don’t think it may have been feasible 😂
This is sick
Thank you!
Cool 😮
Superb. 😮
Perfect 👍
Thank you!
Every thing look better at winter 🥶
That’s correct!
“British” hope u were born in Britain. Isle of Man?
I was indeed born in Britain, but not Isle of Man
That's really cool.
Awesome totally agree about Singapore...they thought if they build nice things ppl with overlook their money hungry, unfriendly soul.
Tamil guy talk big as if he is a real UK guy
