Hello. Nice dredger!! Does the self propelled system works with the machine dredging compact sludge?
Hello Carlos, if the sludge is compacted such that you can walk on it the 500lb thruster will probably not be sufficient. Note that this dredge can be equipped with a 2000lb cable traverse winch to supply the necessary force. That will require you to string a cable along the dredge path and the dredge will be restricted to following the cable. If that will be your only use for the dredge we recommend our Flump our RDF75 dredges which are cable driven only.

As Frank mentioned, vertical lift distance directly affects flow rate. So does the diameter and length of piping you pump through. If you're operating at the best efficiency point, here's the typical flow and fill time for our most common pump sizes assuming a pool volume of 660,430 gallons: 8" - 2000gpm - 5.5hr 12" - 3500gpm - 3.2hr 16" - 7000gpm - 1.6hr 24" - 12,000gpm - 0.9hr
And Frank nailed it for pump time if you assume the 18,000gpm mentioned in the video. The 24" pump can hit 18,000gpm at 15ft TDH.
