I totally agree about saving and specially about not to worry. ❤ The days I have wasted worrying in my 20´s and 30´s and even some in my 40´s ,are never coming back. And most of the things we worry never happens. When something bad happens to us, we always deal with it much better than when we were worrying about it. So really, don’t waste your time

What I like about your videos, Jacqueline, is that you do not provide “quick fixes” but appreciate how complex a human being can be. You just bring up topics that are worth thinking about, instead of instantly solving the issue. It’s not exactly in vogue in the online world right now to slow down enough for this kind of thing. I’m going through that phase where nearly all your videos resonate, and I really appreciate it when I don’t get a generalized answer, and I can just meditate on these subjects instead of instantly being put in a box. Keep going! ❤️

It takes courage to change, especially if that change might hurt someone you love. If you're truly unhappy in some way and you resist change, it puts you into a depression and makes it more destructive when you realize you can't live with your situation any longer and you must break out of your cage.

It's so true. I acknowledge what you said but often tend to forget it. I've been paralysed to even start lots of my ideas cause they are so pure and pretty in my mind and I'm so freaking scared of that hopeless feeling after failing to shape it into reality the way I imagined them but by doing that I'm preventing myself from growth - learning from those little mistakes and moving on with other stuff. I'm making things worse for myself by postponing everything instead of just doing the thing. When the idea just sits there for too long I began to put more pressure on myself to make it perfect which makes me procrastinate even more :,,,>

During my 40+ years of my adult life, I learned that life is full of many different phases. And each phase has its expected "speed" as well. For example: During college years, I lived down town, took subways, ran wide open. During my first years of work, its was "go-go-go" speed. This is normal speed being age 25 and working towards a better future life. Today, I'm retired, live in a country bush and am defending the same trees I tried to "pave over" when I worked (many years ago). Long mumblings short... We all go through different phases, different environments and different speeds in life. This is normal life....

Letting go of perfection is what will definitely bring happiness in one's life! I have so many hobbies but I wouldn't say I am very good at them. But it doesn't matter. The joy of creating will forever be more fulfilling than being "perfect". I stopped impulse buying years ago. Asking yourself, if you REALLY REALLY need something is so important. Not only with clothes, but also with art supplies. "Do I really need that better aquarell colour pallette, or is the one from middle school just fine?" That has helped me a lot. I only buy things when I surely know that they are functional, will be used for many years and will last a long time. Anxiety, hypersensitivity and self consciousness is really eating me up, but taking small steps towards the right direction is very healing for me. Just picking up a book or doodle in my notebook is enough to just feel a little bit better in the moment! And that is exactly what it's about, filling your everyday life with small magical moments. Just like you described it, finding moments of peace and presence in the midst of your everyday life. Thank you for another amazing video ♥

There is a difference between what you actually need to be happy and your susceptibility to a sense of happiness - even for "ordinary" things. The less the latter is developed, the more you're likely to always want more. And then there's hedonistic adaptation: the "dull with excess" problem. I wouldnt diss setting goals and aspring to achieve but not to an extent of becoming neurotic.

I'm sorry to hear that you're in the claws of burnout too, it can really feel hopeless when you lay down just to realize you can't move again to get up. Soooo good that you're getting help though! It's been so great for me to get professional help so I hope you get better going forward as well 🙏

The algorithm is actually our audience.. I saw a whole video about that from UA-cam explaining, that all the algorithm does, is to link people who actually watch our "kind" of video's and content to our video's.... That is all the algorithm does... Link subjects to people who actually look at that kind of content 🌹

This is sort of wrong information. I like calm nature but I also like busy city life too. It’s possible to be flexible.
