What GPU to choose in 2024 - The RTX 3080 or the RTX 4080 ? It come down to: 1. Price vs your economy. 2. What you actually need for your use ? 3. 4K Gaming vs 1440p and 1080p. 4. This shop I visited before, but now they changed the whole shop. They got so much more now, : lots of Motherboards, GPU's, PSU's, Processors, RAM, SSD, Fans, AIO's and Cases and monitors, and headphones, web cameras, keyboards, mouse mats, Mouses, Laptops, Gaming laptops.......... It was amazing and quite a shock to see how they changed the whole shop in to a gaming heaven in such a short time....

About 2 years of use, it's still good. Prebuilt HP Omen 30L keep handeling everything I throw at it. After about 2 years I really can say I'm satisfied with my computer. Although I did change the case and added more fans. But that was the right choice, and my computer is superb due to 2 small changes. Case extra fans. Same thing happened to me today. I was just taking it off to change the ssd, and it DID NOT touch the ground or anything just in my hands and it pulverised
@minecraftmountaineers Try contact Corsair customer service :) They did great for me.
I have two and they have been great. Their grandfather which I built on an Omen X chassis is also rocking, as is the HP Z620.

Thanks for the video. I have the 45L and intermittently I hear a slight click come from the CryoChamber. Is this something I should be concerned about? Otherwise, computer runs great.

Pre-builds can be good if you find good deal. This one is overpriced.
@Anuisgod It was before at least. But I didn't like the quality of the case either, and I have seen ppl say fan noise is loud in this one.
I'm in the process of rebuilding my 30L. The AIO pump design is striking but 140mm with a Ryzen 9 5950X isn't ideal, so I'm swapping the radiator for a deeper 280mm one with Noctua fans. It means hacking the OEM closed loop, rebuilding the top of the case and repositioning the front I/O and power button. The hard drive chassis I've removed as the original board already has two NVME drives on it and the recently bought 3090Ti FE needed the extra space. Some more work planned soon to add another identical front fan, and an additional controller to sit between them, somewhat unseen. Doubling up on the rear intake fans, potentially three more but miniature outtake fans where the hard drive chassis used to be. And then taking the glass side panel to a glazing shop to have holes neatly cut. The GPU power cables currently prevent the panel from being put back on, so I'm allowing for this while allowing to the case to breath more easily. When upgrading the GPU, I replaced the PSU for a second time from an Antec 850W HCG 80+ Gold to an Antec Signature 1300W 80+ Platinum for efficiency should the CPU and GPU be pushed hard. There was initially a 600W OEM Coolermaster PSU that seemed far from adequate with the original Ryzen 7 5700G and 3070Ti. I could have bought a new case but I like the system mostly as it is, with it's Omen features despite some well known drawbacks. Something unique but still true to the original design language. Despite it sounding like a messy hack job, it has so far turned out very tidy and still looks factory built to the unknowing eye. I don't recommend this approach for gaming alone as it's arguably too pricey in areas for that. I do a lot of work in CAD and 3D scanning as well so this beefy one-size fits all approach seems to be working for me. Current specs: OMEN 30L - Hana 8876 Motherboard (B550) AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16/32 3.4/4.9GHz (Base/Max) 64GB DDR4-3200 RAM (HP Omen proprietarily limited to 2400MHz per 32GB) NVidia 3090Ti Founders Edition 24GB GDDR6X Samsung 990 Pro Heatsink 4TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 WD Black SN850X 512GB M.2 (limited to) PCIe 3.0 Antec Signature 1300W 80+ Platinum Peripherals: TCL 43C645K 43'' QLED 4K 120Hz EinStar Shining 3D Scanner Omen Sequencer & Vector

Hi you mean how many ports for HDMI and Display ports ? it's 1 HDMI and 3 display ports on our computers.

@BullishSeagull On our Computers it's WD Black M2 NVMe gen 3 or 4. We have 1 2021 model and other is 2022 model. So it may be different gen in them.

Acer are good Desktops, just not their gaming division. Crappy basic cooling, not built that well, and horribly LOUD and HOT!! The only prebuilt i like is the MSI Codex R. though the cooling on it isn't great either.

I bought a used 3080 almost two years ago for $400. It was after mining but the card still works great and I'am happy with it.
Its an enthusiast card, and it will hold up for many years to come 👍👍

I have no problem buying a new GPU 3070 ti and up in 3000 series. We have the 3070 ti and the 3080. My son have the 3080 ti. I have used them all and they are great. I did have the 3070 and 3060 ti but that was a different world. I wouldent do those again.
There are many comparisons of the 3080 and 4080. But now in 2024, some might think the 3080 is old / outdated. No it's not, if you need a new GPU, consider both is smart to get the best deal for you.

Hi. You can have Omen PC and any monitor you want. I use Omen PC with LG monitor. But you can use Omen PC with Omen monitor too. Up to you 😊

BS on the fan heat. It's immaterial and you're not thinking clearly.
The AIO in the Cryo Chamber work good. Because its separated from the PC in the Cryo Chamber its cooler as it not get heat from CPU, RAM and GPU. I tested with 2 computers and there was a clear difference. If you disagree, it's OK. Have a great day.
@@mr.k885 I have an older PC with the internal AIO and you are right, there is a whole lot of difference in cooling. The older PC is a lot warmer inside the case, and my 45L almost feels like it is cooled with an AC unit.

Honestly I personally have not tried other AIO's, so my honest reply to you is, I dont know. In the 40L if you ramp up the fans ( in Omen HuB ) YES it make noise. But in Omen HUB you can also rmp up fans but NOT AIO = not much sound than. Omen hub give you control over the noise. In our 45L I control it, and so does my son with his 45L. So we really dont have have any noise problems.

@LuXoR1590 If your 40L is original yes. ( if you put in extra fans, I'm not sure ). Original out of the box = 2 front fans + 1 AIO / Exhaust fan.
@@mr.k885 when its on auto cpu pump rpm is around 1000 then idle cpu is around 60Cwhen i set to manual “lowest”rpm is 2500 cpu pump, then cpu is around 30C, what should i leave?
@LuXoR1590 Hard to say. In our 45L I only ramp it up during gaming. Other than that I just leave it on auto and it stay cool. You just need look at your temps and what you do. If its warm for GPU you can ramp it up. Or if CPU is warm. If all is cool = do nothing. 👍

Did Hp release a 3080ti ?
HP Omen had 30L and 45L as I have seen with 3080 Ti in them. On HP Omen page you used to be able to choose the 3080 Ti too. Now it's mostly the 4000 series GPU's. But still some 3000 series on HP page.

@Mummyfn My personal opinion is that HP Omen,s 3080 ti is a great card. My son have it in his 45L. So I have tested it. But I can't compare it to the 4000 series. 3080 Ti = Enthusiast card so it should last long. Its a great card now, but the 4080 and up is better from what I have seen. But 3080 ti is one of the best cards in the 3000 series. It should handle whatever u throw at it. Unless you only game / work in 4k. Than I would go for 4000 series.

I didnt have any problems with my 25L. I mainly game. I ditched the OEM air Cooler and Added a OEM OMEN AIO. My only spite is it doesnt recongnize that i switched to the AIO. The bios wont update to recognize this and will not show pump speed. Like the the Omens that come originally equipped with AIOS.
25L and 30L have a different Omen Hub than 40L and 45L. I and others have asked HP if they would update Omen hub on 25L and 30L, but so far no reply on that from HP. its the software system in Omen hub that is different on the 25L. As far as I know only 40l and 45L detect AIOand can adjust fan speed.
My son's 30L came factory recognizing it
I had a 30L, it could not set fan speed, but it did detect my AIO. Omen hub is much better in 40L and 45L, where you get more options. 25L didnt come with AIO, although i think the newest 25L can come with 1. But if the upgraded Omen hub on them is for me unknown.

if the top of the 30l would have a gridplate more heat would already escape right?
The top of the 30L was tiny. As on 1 side was short because of USB ports and power button and other side was the AIO. = little air going out on top. ( or coming in ). The 92mm exhaust fan coulden't do the job for 3070 card and up. Honestly Im not sure if 3060 ti would make a difference either. And only 1 intake fan. it got hot over time, but I had the 3080 card, and it was just too big and too hot for the 30L case.

This 4060 TI is no good struggles at 2K in 2023
I have not tried the 4060 Ti or any of the 4000 series GPU's. But when we bouth our PC's we had a simple thinking. get the best GPU we can afford. RTX 3080 = Enthusiast RTX 3070 ti = High end Both have the GDDR6X technology as the 4000 series also use. So we feel our GPU's can last for long. Im actually extremely happy we swapped in our 3060 ti for 3070 ti.

@mr.k885 Yes, I tried it, but it turns out that it was the gpu, and I had to return the pc, I don't know how the driver update would do that

Do you think this RTX 3080 is a bad graphics card compared to other RTX 3080?
Hard to say, I never had other 3080 card. But I had my computer now for over 2 years and its still working superb. Its an OEM card, so its very similar to the Fe cards from Nvidia.
Now you see my 5 fans + my single AIO. A total of 6 fans basically. + the 3 fans in my RTX 3080. And the fan in my PSU. My case therefore has good Airflow and cooling.

I bought an HP 40L from Best Buy two months ago and it ran fine until last week. The PC just started randomly powering off. I ran all the HP and MS Win 11 diagnostic apps and everything checked out fine. PC still will not stay on, so I took it back to Best Buy for repair. I like the computer, but this isn't going well. I do like the HP brand as I own an older HP Pavilion and an HP Omen gaming laptop that have been totally reliable.
I did uninstall all HP software on my computer and it went faster. That would have been my second suggestion after what you have done.
Right click start and go to Event Viewer. Look for Critical Kernel Power Errors that may point to an insufficient power supply. My 30L did this until I replaced the OEM 600W PSU with a better rated 850W High Current Gamer PSU from Antec. DanKamYouKnow recommends it in one of his videos on the topic.

@@mr.k885 I've got 2 piece. bought 7 month ago & still pretty nice. 🙂But one of them got dead pixels, so they changed my screen. Took 1 month. Grrr!

For the corsair 5000D case, it looks like that you are not using the fan openings on the side of the case, does this case come with a plate to seal the opening? Also, I read some reviewers who said that they had trouble routing the Corsair power supply cables, did you run into this issue? What brand of GPU holder are you using? As for the fans, I take you are using the 3 Corsair LL120 fans for the front intake, one fan for the exhaust, how many fans for the AIO? Are you using the 2nd fan that came with the case?
Hi. Fans : I use both fans that came with the case. 2 black non RGB fans. 1 is exhaust, and other is in roof next to AIO. Those 2 fans are Corsair. Than I bought 3 LL120 RGB fans that's in the front. My AIO is a single AIO. So I have a total of 5 fans +1 AIO. On the side its mesh ( hole ) for air, inside is a plate / door. Can't shut it completely so air is coming in there to the RAM and CPU.
I use a cooler master GPU bracket ( holder ).

I bought 1 omen I have about 2 years ago and it still runs like it's new. Fast, smooth, and handle everything i put it to. The other Omen we have is 13 months old and that too no problems and run smooth and fast like new 13 months ago. So my 30 L ( I did a swap case and added fans ) runs fantastic. My 45L runs fantastic. My experience is = yes, it's worth it.

@ultimaxc If you look at my first videos you will see my 30L case. In 2021 HP Omen had Hp Omen 25L and 30L. Than they developed and came with 40L in November 2021. And 45L in January 2022. So I bought the best of HP omen both times. 30L when it was only 25L and 30L. And 45L when they had 25L, 30L, 40L and 45L. Now it seem they cut the 30L. And only have 25L, 40L and 45L. I had all 25L, 30L, 40L and 45L. But I kept 30L and 45L. It's in my videos.

Contact HP support right away. Sad to hear this. I saw 1 other on UA-cam with this problem. Only heard of these 2 cases. I never experience this my self. But contact HP support ASAP.
