No it's not a lie that is the same God still today but the difference is we have Grace and peace with God through Jesus but you have to accept Him in your life as Lord and savior.

Jesus came to fulfill the law not to abolish it. He displayed God's love to us in human form but Jesus is God Amen. That's what changed in the new testament we got to know more about the Love and mercy of God through Jesus.

God Bless You; God loves You and all his children.
Yes God loves everyone even though who are not saved at all or yet. But everyone isn't a child of God. There's a difference we must be saved born again. That's when we become a so or daughter of God.
God created us from the beginning and created all so we are children from God. God doesn't abandon us. But we can choose to be with him because we have a free will. God gave us this free will to choose his love and live in the Holy Divinity. So yes we need to accept Jesus as our savior and do his will. Yet so many choose not to. But people don't realize their soul is at stake. We should remember God is the our Heavenly Father and therefore judgement will tell all. Keep praying for lost souls and preaching. God loves us.
Just because God created all of us and loves us still doesn't mean we're all children of God, but I pray that the Lord would give you more revelation on that and yes, God bless you as well.

Ok well I don't believe in tithing anymore at all. I go by what thw word of God says in 2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver So if anyone preaches you will be cursed for not tithing. Go back and study malachi that was commanded for the priest to do. Giving a offering isn't just money it's your time. It could be food or helping someone or helping the church.
I believe in giving offerings from our hearts not because someone told us to but because we decide to and when we are led to by the Holy Spirit
