    we have read her book in 1997, just before founding our own family with 4 children. Jean Liedloff had a huge influence on our attitude towards children, we gave birth alone at home, in the nature, they grow up unschooled, with a lot of cultural enrichment (like classical music, literature, arts and science), later on we read also books form Sabbat-Zinn, J.Holt, etc by time a whole movement coming up and taking children serious. I can just say, have trust in nature and in your children... and got your own way! Now three of them are classical musicians, with an amazing bond to nature and human beings. ❤

    Some wise insight here on display from David. I must say though, the introductory music really devalued the presentation for me. It primed me to expect some pseudoscientific discussion. If you're just beginning the video, try and look past the intro, and you'll find David espousing a more valuable perspective than the music might suggest!

      The piano music lasts only about twenty-five seconds. Unless a person is truly impatient, easily influenced by it, it’s not that big a deal. I’ve read a few of Chamberlain’s books and they present some fascinating issues, as do van Lommel’s at the other end of the spectrum of life.

    When two children are born to a mother simultaneously, and one is a girl and the other is a boy, and after two or three or 8 days the boy is taken from his mother's arms, given to strangers, and taken to a room with bright lights, strapped to a table and circumcised... Does that not interfere with mother child bonding? When he is returned to his mother, how could he explain to his sister who was not circumcised what he experienced? Just a thought.

    • @karate4348
      @karate4348 3 роки тому

      absolutely... His body would be arcing in pain and he'd be crying for rescue, then comfort for his pain... he would be feeling the discontinuity of his bonding compared to continuity between his sister and mother (assuming that continuity went on) ... He would be disconnected from safety and security with his mother which would be in tact if she'd refused the brutal stupid circumcision. I'm sorry that so many babies go through so much ignorance and cruelty at the hands of modern adults and systems... including boys who have their foreskins cut off. Bloody madness.

    We homeschooled our children and they engaged in imaginative play constantly (still do). The stages that he speaks of are so fitting with how our children developed. We noticed that other school children would come from the community and 'watch' our children engage in imaginative play outside as if they were watching a television show. It was very strange.

    I am not sure if any of this is correct. She is saying that African babies don't throw up or cry or fight because the mother's are constantly close to their babies? Really? Babies have limited senses, and take a long time before even understand who is who. You build up a relationship with a new born, and it isn't until some time passes the child even has a clue who is who. They need human interaction for sure, but even them understanding who the mother is very limited as the baby only has a few idea's through senses which women is his/her mother. I think it true that the baby has some idea who the mother is, but to say they have all these negative traits because they are not constantly 24/7 around the mother is misleading. Along with some other crazy idea's she has. Great approach in taking that extra step in loving your child, give her that...

      Research has shown that at birth babies can recognise their mother by their voice (they have heard it for months at that point already) and her smell. Before they are able to see properly, they can furthermore distinguish people by the way they are handled which is the reason why a lot of babies do not allow everyone to calm them down. They know how is handling them very early on.

    • @helenoyintanda5323

      Babies recognise immediate family members' voices from immediately coming out of the womb. Babies are able to communicate with mum biologically via breastfeeding where they literally put in a food order every time they feed and she makes up the exact necessary milk for the baby. Babies know mum's smell and will react forcibly if they are removed from her. Babies left on mum's skin develop enormously.

      My midwife insisted that I be the first person to touch my first child for this very reason. I self delivered the second so I ended up being the first touch she got too. My third, the midwife immediately passed her to me and when, a few moments later, the midwife ask if she could hold the baby whilst I repositioned myself, the baby screamed until she was handed back to me. She also turned her head right round when she heard her grandmother's voice! They've remained inseparable all her life. You are spot on babies know exactly who the family members are when they are born!

      Apparently this didn't come across in the interview, but in her book she does NOT say that the mothers held their babies all the time, just that SOMEONE always was holding the baby. Babysitting was very common.

      The bible teaches the most horrible untruths about human love and bonding.. Firstly, there is no such thing as a virgin birth. Sperm and a father must be present. Secondly, the single woman and child (Madonna and child) is a terrible model... iconic as it is in the church... of motherhood. A healthy happy child is with lots of adults and children... a community who make sure s/he is held and cared for, bonded with humans .. not a 'god'. bonded with a home in a healthy happy natural environment , with other animals... happy at home lives together... not a woman alone with one child. Thirdly... the good boy who grew into a good man who had no sperm to speak of (neither boy or his father or his mother apparently had any!? to do with his birth) this good boy who grew up to be such a good man was tortured to death for being good. What a sick story that is... and to have the cross.. a symbol of torture as the symbol of a belief system... That is a sick belief system. The bible sucks... I know.. I come from a family with generations of christianity... and only the kindness of humanity shone the light on the the murkiness of child abuse, brainwashing, fearmongering and destruction of families, communities and societies across the world.. thanks to blind faith in the bible. To read the bible with an open mind and heart... especially the first testament... can only show the way to put that book firmly in the bin afterwards.... take some notes from the lives of indigenous people still living where their culture shows them how... sit and learn from them ... more to learn there about how to live real loving and strong life without colonising the brains of children and adults by threatening them and brainwashing them and stealing their money and land and lives as the christians have done to indigenous folk, including my ancestors!!! across the world. The first testament is a how to do genocide manual. read it and get real.... the new testament was a PR job trying to revive a story of jesus as a hope of keeping the christians hooking others in. Failing to recognise life of ourselves in balance with nature.. that is what is failing humanity... Evolution has not happened indeed... we are still animals who are hurting our own children so that we are not able to function with healthy happy lives, but have to pretend ourselves by being 'civil' and learning how to live by reading books and watching screens. We need nature to regrow around us so that we can regrow.

    It's now open to see where the origins of violence has originated for us all to see. Our society is actually in the cages and we have the biggest mental health and violence issues of all time...since watching the behaviors of the local authorities and their disgraceful acts of forced child care this mean 'forced adoption' 'forced fostering' and all the other names that the authorities use to hold a child against the will of their parents. Who is funding who to line their pockets from this disgraceful act from the very people YOU pay from your taxes? The White House and UK government David Cameron and his parasitical cabinet calling themselves the Tory Party. One would not think that' they' would NOT use these studies against human beings stRting from the most innocent 'little children' but they do! That is the factor the matter! James W Prescott's findings shows your governments have used animals to abuse before abusing my children and the 1000s of children being forcibly removed from their loving families! Fact. They turned around to use on human beings to breed violence and mental health issues. I study the effects to share with the grow group run by Dr Ken Moran. And hopefully this will keep my mind stable as I learn from the inappropriate behavior of high ranking officials called 'local authorities' run by a corrupt government. If our world is to change we need to listen and educate each other far and wide as possible to learn together who has your best interest and your families best interest at heart" learning from the ones who are teaching us of the parental alienation syndrome PAS, as they call the syndrome another behavior or behaviors used y themselves, we will use the 'corporate parents'as this is the name they have given themselves once they have stolen forced children as we have the facts into one of the most disgraceful care systems ever imaginable. I say who is fucking with our children David Cameron? And I'm sure he has seen his name highlighted and tagged now into the many posters coming from families who his government past and present have had in store for working class families and leading into a higher classes! As Monique from Parents Unite on Facebook has been exposing. www.google.co.uk/search?q=forced+child+care+exposed&rlz=1C9BKJA_enGB656GB656&oq=forced+child+care+exposed&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&hl=en-GB To where is our children being led social services? James W Prescotts findings to learn from and bring a more happy and peaceful life to every human being....starting with our children I hope the Authorities can put these findings by James into better hands than the present onesand make the world a happier place. Violent I could be to thinking of blowing up the lot who are working within our social 'should be care' but these services right up to their lords and masters even we could think of blowing the fucking lot of them up one at a time! From a once happy peaceful mother could be led into the rooters the planters who cause such evil acts of violence! The thought policethoughts that I could let into play?
