Rough as Guts.
if you have no plastic bearing, you can heat it before the threat is damaged.
Suggestion buy the $10 proper tool instead of being the tool....destroying the pedal arm & stripping the crank hole.
Yes! It worked!🙏
That will ensure that you have ruined the threads inside the cartridge as well
Good to know 😊
How do you get the arms back on
just tighten the screws
Nothing worked for me so i sawed it off with a dummer tool
Exercise and throughout
Надо было пользоваться нормальными съемщиками и читать инструкцию при сборке
Aha thank God i found your video i try your way slam the hammer around that chainring arm instead of crank arm😅 a few time i hit n boom its off😆🤷🏼♂️👍🏼
Gunkaan kunci tracker, sangat mudah membukanya jika lengkap alat2 kerja
Heat with plumbers torch, comes rite off with three packs of a hammer
Thanks❤
Bro….. there’s a tool for this. It’s called a “crank puller”
Nice work , I used a tie rod / ball joint remover . Cheers 🇨🇦
You need a crank puller it cost like 13 dollars
Ça a marcher pour moi Merci beaucoup 😊 ❤
Thank you so much
Is it a self extracting crank arm?
You need to remove the tip of the crank remover tool and try again. You have obviously tried removing the crank arm without removing the tip which is obviously by the marks on the internal thread of the arm has just pressed them off
Godbless tutorials like these
A CYCLUS crank arm repair kit would fix this with no problems at all.
This will damage/bend aluminum of crankarm.
Thank you so much! When all the hope was lost... Boom and it's off!
Thank you very much bro! You are the best in the world!!! ❤❤❤Very helpful video!!!
A pulley puller could help in this situation as well.
Your crank arm is still attached, sir.
You should use a 8mm or 10mm socket insted of the allen key. And then use a 3 jaw puller.
How do I get a lock nut off that is rusted onto the frame
I broke my wrench😂
My centre bolt is rounded and my puller roumded the exterior so idk what to do
What? You didn't show shit!
Thank you so MUCH. That worked 💪 🎉😅
Saviour!!
yep I got two dodgy garbage bikes and both cranks are seized tight.. great 😂
freakin awesome bro thanks. this is what youtube shorts are for
This is what you need to get to get to your goddamn point
Now how do you fix the threads of the crank arm so that you don't have to throw it away? I'm going to try doing thing with a ratchet extension and a rubber mallet.
Thanks 🎉 bike fiked
Thank you bro it work❤
The head on the crank puller you used is too large, you can see where it was driving into the edges of the square hole in the crank. You need a square taper crank puller, or the park tool with a smaller drive disc.
I hate those old square bottom brackets. I had so many problems with crank arms coming loose. Good thing we're two generations past those and the current generation has been around about 20 years. Good riddance to bad design.
very effective🔥🔥👏👏👏
A long bolt will also do it 👍
Thanks, worked a charm
Perfect sir! Thank you
Better than what I would’ve done which is cut into the arm and try to split it with a hammer and chisel.
Imagine just being able to smack that crank arm off with a rubber mallet. Stuffing that Allen key in the end of the threaded area of that spindle is going to mess the threads up even more. Take it to a shop if you don’t know what you are doing. It’s clear you were not using the crank puller correctly by the marks you left. You shouldn’t recommend people be doing stuff like this. It’s bad advise even if you were able to get the am off.
Amazing. Furst thought was holy hell it actually worked. Will use this in the future for sure
