Lovely, heart warming, paradisial pieces.
All absolutely amazing pieces! Thanks a million for your generosity! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
@Boompluzz-cg3ff Yes I'd love to take the credit for it, but thank Johann Pachelbel for the composition, and the London Baroque and the record label for allowing it to be posted here.
Thank you, Fredericia.
@Ceci.Coem. The pleasure is all mine.
Wunderschön 😊

Beautiful..... Where can I find this great wallpaper?
@johanvanb.8590 I found it on Unsplash.com, but when I went to search for it for you, it was no longer there. There are lots of other photos on that site, and if you search for "bubbles", "water drops", "water bubble" or "raindrops", you'll find lots like it.
So pretty🥀🌻🪻🌷🌷🥀🥀🌺🌹🌷🌷🪻🌻

This piece of Mozart spreads the inique picece of Mozars’s in the arly baroque

@blackp7139 Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy it.
In 1713, Prince Johann Ernst of Saxe-Weimar returned from the Netherlands full of enthusiasm. He had heard lots of good music and brought back many new music publications to Weimar. His enthusiasm was shared by Johann Sebastian Bach, who was 28 at the time and working at Weimar as court organist and chamber musician. Sometimes on commission from Johann Ernst, this one arranged a great number of concertos from Italy for organ or harpsichord. And when Bach arranged something or rather rewrote it, he couldn’t resist giving it a personal twist. This was also the case with this Concerto in D major, a harpsichord version of Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major for violin and orchestra, RV 230 (Concert No.9 from Vivaldi’s collection L’estro armonico). The keyboardist Richard Egarr explains, for example, how Bach added an interesting part for the left hand in the third movement, and how in the first movement he fitted a whole string orchestra onto one harpsichord, while also making the music more appropriate for keyboard. *Lucien*

This piece Violin Concerto in D major RV 222 for concertante violin, strings and cembalo was composed at Venice in 1724 by Antonio Vivaldi and dedicated to « Signora Chiara ». It will be transcribed at Rome in 2002 by Santino Cara. The structure of the piece includes three movements. The first « Allegro non molto » being the most popular. The restitution is based on a copy of the 1740 manuscript kept at the State Library of the University of Dresden in Germany. From his early Venetian youth to his last moments in Vienna, the redhead priest pushes always technical or academic limits and tirelessly creates new narrative forms: the journey of a lifetime. *Lucien*
@LucienMarine Thank you very much for the authentification. Because of the back story and the different character of the late works, I was in doubt as to whether Vivaldi actually composed them.
@@LucienMarine I consider it a great blessing that you would share your knowledge with us all. I've been tormented by the beauty of this andante the last couple of days.
@@FredericiasChannel Luck always favors men of good will. Sharing is caring through my baroque music channel and my comments on the long classical period. I also like this second movement. Hope to meet you dear music lover here or there. *LM*
@@LucienMarine It will be an honor! And I've subscribed to your channel.
Serse's first air, « Ombra mai fu », is a love canto by Xerxes for a tree (Oriental Plane Tree) set to one of Handel's most beautiful and famous melodies, often performed in an orchestral arrangement. It is known as « Largo de Handel » although in fact the score refers to it as « larghetto ». The opera contains incredible arias where we feel great tenderness, but also the amused mood of the composer for these personas even if passion mixes with farce and satire, in this sense, it moves away from the typical opera seria developed by Apostolo Zeno and Metastasius in particular. One of Handel's last operatic compositions, « Serse » is considered the most Mozartian and one of the best he composed. There is, however, little real connection between the history and the libretto or its music. Handel sees the madness of human nature which is shown but never ridiculed. After only five performances, the oratorio was withdrawn from the Haymarket Theater program and then forgotten for 250 years. The man must be crazier than he thinks to neglect such a masterpiece. Handel would probably happy to see this nature so colorful nevertheless compromised by today's man. Nature is a work of art from God that we have to bequeath at all our children in this world. My sincere thanks to Fredericia's Channel. *Lucien*
Probably the most beautiful piece of music ever written.
what a shame that such exquisitely beautiful music is known by so few people
That's what I'm hoping to remedy. 🌝
to my ears at least, almost all of the most beautiful music was written in the 18th century, mostly in Germany/Austria and Italy, preferably purely instrumental, at the pace of adagio and/or largo. the above piece is actually a good example of what I mean
@@mosesCordovero-uw5vw I agree. There is a bit of gorgeous music later on, but Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Pachelbel - those are some of my favorites!
also Handel, Albinoni
@@mosesCordovero-uw5vw Absolutely!
Thanks to my friend Janet who shared me this very beautiful instrumental music. So peaceful
