GaudyOrde
United Kingdom
Приєднався 14 лют 2010
The music band Gaudy Orde reside in South Wales and play original toe-tapping quirky music that is fun and flippant. If you're looking for a genre then you might try 'skiffle' or 'vaudeville' although neither of those trousers are a perfect fit. However you decide to describe Gaudy Orde, one thing is certain, they are a thoroughly entertaining live act.
The band have played many gigs over the years including:
The Acoustic Festival of Great Britain
The RHS Flower show in Cardiff
The Ukulele Festival Of Wales
The Ukulele Festival of Great Britain
Cwmaman Music Festival
Uke-A-Bay Festival
Fishguard Folk Festival
Malleyfest
And many more

I'm pleased to have turned a number of SFF authors on to this - because everything in science fiction is the size of Wales, and its only fair to tell them why.
Excellent! Thanks Steve.

I feel like you could also mash Happy Together by The Turtles into this as well.

Why does this not have more views? It's brilliant!
Here's spelling mistake #2... "an ocean by it's side". The grammatical pedant in me wishes to point out that it should be "an ocean by its side". The rest of me wishes to thank you for the entertaining ditty :)
Greetings from the Skylands Region of New Jersey. I wish I knew what inspired this song. I was just in Cardiff in September.
Hi, 'The Size Of Wales' is often used by the British media to describe the size of a large area such as 'an area of rainforest the Size Of Wales is destroyed every year' They use it so often I thought it was worthy of a song. Thanks for listening.
i'm just uploading an alternative

Hey! Love this song! Would you be so kind to provide me with the lyrics? Your "accent" makes it hard for me to get all the words. Thanks! adivabythesea@mac.com --Annie
Wonderful REAL music! Thank you for the inspiration. Love the metal tray bit too.
cheers!
Well done chaps! Thanks for entertaining at the fest.
@pjdoleman its the new way, everyone will be doing it soon!
Love the capo-shift key change!
Sprouts!!!
@krabbers thanks for your nice comments. There's a load of new stuff I want to get filmed, it was a shame we only got to do 1 number. I should have gone for the Saturday afternoon slot like you did but I went off to the Ukulele Barrt workshop instead and spent the afternoon thinking how I couldn't get away with having that many buttons undone on my shirt.
