    That is one of the best tutorials on the layout of that design I have seen- and I've watched a few. You would have been an excellent shop math teacher.

    I am sure you do pretty good down there in Bandera country. Out here in Tn. no one wants to pay for anything. They always say it just leather. Why the HELL did I leave Texas for the love of a woman. I must have lost my mind.

    Trailer and your setup are looking good. Hopefully you do well with sales. I haven't been to Bandera since College when our church put on a camp at the Flying L. Bandera is a neat town.

    The dimple on the side is for putting in a round felt disc that lubricates the thread by contact.

      I’d just get you a soft bristle brush, similar to what you are using to brush down your horse… lightly brush…

      I tried to get some stuff knocked out before the surgery! It’ll be hard to go anywhere for awhile! I’ve still got 4 weeks of a sling!

    That is a neat machine, I want one. I have an old motorized blade splitter, can''t think of the name right now. I like that this machine doesn't smoosh the leather down as it drives it through. Also, wondering, how parallel does that center roller keep it to the knife? I hate that about mine, that, or it will finish thinner than it started.

      It finishes it out evenly! If anything maybe the first 1/4” may have a slight bevel! I’ve got a Stanley Centenial 18” fixed blade splitter that works decently! Sometimes the piece doesn’t go all the way through! I’m thinking I’ll try to put a speed reducer on it in hopes of increasing the “torque”!

    11 1/2 - 12 oz means nothing to people that don't know a lot about leather. It would help if you said the actual thickness. But still a cool video.

    I’m on po week 7 . I’m still wearing sweatpants. Still having some pain, but I’m better. Hope you are doing better by now. I’m convinced this is the worse surgery. It takes so long to recover.

    Man, that machine makes a beautiful stitch! I guess that's why everyone I have seen listed for sale is so expensive.
