I've always enjoyed rap music and staying up to date on what's popular. I have been told I have an ear for lyrics and can remember songs and lyrics more than I probably should. I thought it would be fun to breakdown rap lyrics and/or film my reaction to hearing songs for the first time. I hope I can meet other people like myself who get excited when they hear a crazy punchline or metaphors in a song.

So the song is about his now ex-wife which is his baby mama. They got married last year and she filed for divorce like a month ago so the song is mainly about her however, there’s a lot of correlated bars to him and Meg tho

Can you refer me to any reaction channels where they DO PAUSE A LOT? ... because that's the main reason why I listen to a reaction channel, because I want the bars broken down... I don't want to watch a reaction channel JUST to see him or her vibe to a song.... I want the intelligent, great bars broken down, in case I missed a few... I grade a rap reaction channel, the ones that focus on lyrical rap, on whether or not they are catching AND understanding bars, I more that expect them to pause... what's the rush?... if viewers don't like the pausing, go to another channel... I'm just saying all this because... 1) it gets irritating that the youtuber is saying, "sorry for pausing" or "I promise, I'm not going to pause anymore" every time they pause the video. 2) to let you know that there are people, like myself, that doesn't mind the pausing, in fact, wants and expects it... when I listen to people like Montana, Timmy, and Tally, I don't catch everything... I look for reaction channels that, not only catches the bar, but understands it and can explain it... i expect pausing if the youtuber is doing that
well thank you for your feedback! I feel like there is a fine line of people enjoying the song and letting the bars play out, or pausing after every metaphor you hear and the video getting a bit boring for the viewer. Just like you mentioned earlier, I reacted to the first part of a punch line instead of letting it play out and hearing the whole thing (the every line is raw when I wrap it line) If there are bars I catch I try to point them out unless it is just something very easy to understand at face value
You caught the first part of that bar... the one when he said, "My lyrics make you think for yourself, that's why you feel slow..." you acknowledged that part, but immediately after that he says, "every line is raw when I rap it, I feel like I'm dealing dope." The metaphor being... LINE of any drug... every line is RAW, cuz in the drug game, people want RAW... and, RAP it = WRAP it, like when you wrap up the drugs for distribution
that's fire! his doubles and sometimes triples are hard to catch. The 'metal in my Timberland boots, I steel toe (still tote)' is crazy!
