Thankyou
Thanks for the memories Lenny!.
Great Video ..fan from Sri Lanka..!
Great stuff Lenny, from a classic era of cricket! Always enjoyed watching you bowl. I remember seeing a few of these matches. 👍
Great memories. Cricket was entertaining back then.
Great stuff Lenny....legend!!
Hey Len, thanks for being a part of my childhood, loved watching you bowl, i miss the old WSC days, i have seen several later interviews with you, you seem like a genuine friendly bloke, but gee, you looked angry sometimes in the old days when you were bowling, i hope you are doing really well in life.
i loved championship wrestling i guess i do a bot of the stuff they did
@@lenpascoe277 No no, i mean World Series Cricket.

Man I loved Lenny as a young kid. He was genuinely quick and had fire in his belly. Great upload.
Pasco. Live u
Love from Pakistan. U really great cricketer.
Back in late 70s in India as a school boys,we used eagerly read all these exploits of these great cricketers ,Lenny was one of them.now watching all these videos is really a great experience and more exciting than present day cricket.
Len, I'm an Indian journalist. Can I get a zoom interview with you?
First time I saw you bowl Len was in the 1977 Ashes tour in England. You looked to my admittedly young, untrained eye as quick as Thomson in that series. I also remember you bowling a brute of a bouncer to Boycott in the 1980 centenary test at Lords that nearly decapitated him. A very underrated and entertaining bowler to watch.
Len, you were a pretty good bowler who had the misfortune to be a contemporary of several other good Australian fast bowlers, so you didn't play as many official Test matches as you might have. Also, Packer's WSC took you out of official cricket for two seasons and that gave Rodney Hogg a chance to step up and take the new ball for Australia. I saw you bowl about three overs at the end of the very first day of test or first class cricket I ever saw live at the ground: the 4th day of the 3rd Test of the 1977 Ashes at Trent Bridge, a match well known for Botham's debut, Boycott's return after three years out, Boycott's run-out of Randall and then the former's epic, match-turning stand of 215 with Alan Knott. I was sitting square to the pitch and when you and Thommo bowled I couldn't see the ball travelling at 90 mph 80 yards away, just a puff of dust as it hit the pitch and then I heard the ball either hit the bat or smack into Marsh's gloves. Two great moments stick with me from Australia's 2nd innings on that 4th day - the catch by Tony Greig [RIP] to dismiss Rod Marsh, and Rick McCosker (with no helmet and visor in those days) hooking Bob Willis [RIP] (the bowler who less than five months previously had broken his jaw) for six to bring up his century. 01/08/77 - A great day I shall remember as long as I live.

Len Pascoe who was the toughest batsman to bowl to
Len Pasco was among my favourite fast bowlers in 70s, unfortunately he couldn't play longer...
Living legend
Never thought I would come across your channel Len - thanks for sharing the video, a true legend of the game <3 take care mate.
Thanks for this video, you were my favourite bowler.
What a great way to relive our golden days. We loved two things quite a lot. One Vinyl records and another a certain 'LP'. As a kid we tried to copy his action and mannerism .. not to forget his Rock Star looks ... A Legend forever .. . Back in the 80s :) . a certain fast bowler from Pakistan copied his action too .. if you observe carefully ..
It’s humbling to read comments from people we played because we loved it and always felt if it was boring to me it’s boring to watch it also I’m a fan of World Championship Wrestling go The Rock !
In the late 70s and early 80s , the pacers from West Indies and Australia were just awesome. Like the current times, the wickets were not batsmen friendly and were mostly uncovered. They certainly offered more swing and bounce. On such wickets, the crop of fast bolwlers, unleashed by WI and Aussies, were such a treat to watch and it was a fullsome treat to a cricket fan. Len Pascoe with his body built like a Greek God and extremely good looks, aided by extreme brutal pace, made life very difficult for the batsmen. In the company of the great Lillee, Thomson, Pascoe formed a lethal force and was hostile. He just delivered thunder bolts at the batsmen and had had charmed reign as a bowler. Now days such bowlers are rare. Thankou for giving those memorable moments .
Sir we in India heard on the radio your exploits in the 80-81 series. What a time it was. The players now would be wobbling in their knees facing you and the group
Thx sir
Loved Lenny growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. A great bowler who should’ve played far more games for Australia.
Some gold stuff from the archive! Would like to see more of your bowling clips
Len , That bouncer to Sandip Patil was extra ordinary . Probably , the best bouncer in cricket history . You are awesome . You've ruled the cricket pitch .
Sandeep went on to score a great Ton full of respect for him
Kaannaa naadangeeta kaatu otha enketa poi evanmattumella gefre Lawson Jhon lever Bob Willis Larwood da, 1st bouncer 😄😃😀
I recall reading a story where you bowled consecutive bouncers to Viv Richards. Greg Chappell warned you to not bowl anymore and if you did then he would take you off. Was this correct?
Simon true I get sick of being belted around the park
