The hospital in Johnstown is bad news. Treat you like a number. You are better off traveling a bit further to Windber or Altoona hospitals where they treat you much better.
We moved here and retired! People ask why? We had our reasons. Westmont Hilltop is a very safe nice area. Home values can bring some great equity if done right! It may take decades for towns like Johnstown to recover. That will only happen if good paying jobs return to towns like this. It could happen if politicians stopped catering to billionaires and allowing them to use our tax dollars to enrich themselves at the expense of the entire country! Sadly I have been watching this play out since the early 70's!
