There’s no WAY he drags more home than you! 😉
The contrast you get from the hoses being black and other parts show up so much better with a different color other than black, My vote is any color other than black Great job though!!
Totally agree what sucks I did paint it and now wish I didn’t o well can always redo it later on.
That is going to be one sick machine! Makes me want to build one my self!
Thank you definitely is a fun project
I know this is an old post but I have a question. I have an 01 F350 super duty with coil springs that I’m looking to convert to four-wheel-drive. I have a front axle that I took out of an 04 F350 6.0 truck and I’m wondering if it will work, I already found out that the front wheel adapter won’t work. I think it’s 170 x 180 and I think I need 170x170. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Should be all 170 to 170mm have your double checked?
I doubled checked it’s 170 /180. My truck is a Dually 170 / 170
I just got one and it's going back Monday it sucks.
Yea I should have returned this one
You stole that excavator 😮. Nice. I still would have fixed it best I could and used it as is but it is your money. I am in far NorCal and you did the right thing by not videoing that property, not as bad these days but a few years back that excavator would have dug your grave…
Haha exactly! Where at in NorCal you at?
What a cool find, and we'll done so far. I think you should leave the finish. Who knows how deep that stain goes. Problematic, especially on the thin back. I never met my grandfather, but I've inherited two mandolin like things from him that he bought when he was at sea. They're probably from Italy. The larger one with the flat back has three strings per course, and is in the best shape. I strung it up with new strings and have played it a bit years and years ago. It needs a neck reset, AND the top is sunk. The other one has a round back, and is quite a bit smaller. I don't remember if it was 3x4 strings as well, or 2x4. The one I played had a really raw sound, pretty loud for what it is. These are maybe from the thirties, or at least that's when he most likely bought them. I want to restore them, but haven't dared yet. There's so much inlay work, wood and mother of pearl all around the soundboard, and I,ll have to take the soundboard off, steam and press it back in shape. There's going to be bits of mother of pearl flying everywhere. I've also played a violin from the mid 1800's, built by a Norwegian fiddlemaker, not mine, not anything special.
Saw this thing on Facebook, cool shit
Thank you
FB sent me here.
👍
So awesome. Tons of work there but it pays off! Great work. Your fabrication skills are top notch.
Thank you

🤣
Enjoyed it man ! Take regular breaks because if you're on your toes for long enough they might have a break !
🤣 thanks
New subscriber here..I need to build one of these!!!!...super cool build-John
Thank you welcome to the shit show channel 🤣
@@EbenT457 HHAHA!!!..
So awesome to see it run and move, excellent engineering & building so far. Youll have all the quirks figured out soon
Thank you means a lot
It’s alive! Yay!
I might have cried a little lots of work to get here 🤣
@ I think I would too! That’s a huge project to do by yourself! Not mention figuring out the hydraulic plumbing?
Yea honestly kind of bummed I didn’t record more of the actual fabrication. So much little stuff and thinking the camera was the last thing on my mind 🤣.
I can honestly say out of all my projects I’ve built this is the biggest most complicated. But now that I’ve almost completed it. My future builds are gonna make this look small 🤣
@@EbenT457 Yeah I understand. I chainsaw carve and have been meaning to record more. But I have to figure out the whole editing thing. The last eagle I started was from a 4000 pound log that was probably 52’ diameter.
Did you leave the front spacer on?
No
Thank you for helping me make up my mind. I was considering getting one to blast two trailers. Not gona.
Yea I’ve tried it several more times just doesn’t work
This truck deserves to be restored to its former glory its a jem of an old school truck good luck getting it back in working order 😊
Thanks
Kids could have gotten hurt
What part of the video could a kid get hurt?
Take pin out drill a closer hole to the hitch
Thought about that only go about a inch more thou
Oh ok I got the 32k 2.5 gen y hitch works flawless for the passed 5 plus years I had it I actually think we have put so much weight on it it look bent a little bit
Turn radius
So it's again the California emission laws that forced the truck out of the state.
Yep normally allowed for low miles per year but they wouldn’t allow it
@EbenT457 Haven't California forbidden wildfires? They should definitely because those fires pollute a lot 😄
Cool little dump truck, 🤠👌
Thank you
Hey Bro....good video. Where did you get your pins from?

OMG you buy the wrong battery and your first move is to grab a cutting wheel and start showering sparks all over a battery, bending and forcing it, when all you needed to do was set it next to the box, connect the cables, do your testing for the day and then take it back for the right battery later. I don't want to be within a hundred feet of you with a tool in your hand myself, much less with kids.
When you live in a small town. not a lot options you make what works or you wait for days. If it was something new and nice definitely wouldn’t do it. But a 500 dollar toy why not.

Looks Dope! Good job!
Thank you
Let’s see the shipper
How do you like that cm?
It was a good bed quality unit for the price
Sounds like a good plan. 👍👍
Hopefully this winter
Thanks for an update video, progress looks awesome!
Thank you
Would have been great if you had a bluetooth microphone on your shirt that could pick up your voice better 😊
Yea I need to it’s weird to me thou on my end I sound very loud when editing the video. Thank you
Well done on all the fabrication to date. For convenience regarding the battery box. Why not go the extra step and cut the back end out of it and re install it like the lid with a hinge. It will make it so easy to change the battery when you need too. You will thank yourself for doing this in the future when you need to change the battery.
I totally agree I keep looking at it and it bugs me 🤣. Definitely will be doing something different
Will it have a winch?
Yes
You can see it on the back big hydraulic
You may want to invest in a microphone or stand closer or right next to your camera whilst recording. For the first 6 minutes or so, I could hardly hear what you were saying & had to turn on the Subtitles. I'm aware my phone is not the best in the world but any time your more than 7 foot or 2 metre's away from the camera it becomes nearly impossible to hear you & I've watched on my sister's iPhone with the same results. This is not a criticism just trying to be helpful. Great work on the Chipper & great video bar the sound bit. . .
Thank you I’ve been looking into an all around better camera with an external microphone. Hopefully pull the trigger soon.
Looks 'like a huge undertaking, but what a cool idea. it'll be so cool when she comes to life
Thank you hopefully soon
It’s looking good dude 👌
Thank you
This should’ve been a five minute video you’re rambling
🤷♂️
Texas pride sucks this looks better
Thanks
I have one of these. It works when it feels like it. Everything must be just right. The orange hoses kink very easily and that causes issues so a better suction hose would help. Be prepared to get wet and full of sand as in most cases when blasting into corners it comes right back at you.
Yes definitely get wet and sandy fast 🤣
Hello, I have the same forklift can you please tell me what kind of oil filter does it use? Thanks in advance.
Sorry sold long time ago
Not sure why not spray it factory color, with the original smooth texture. Would look way better. Less chipping. And much easier to keep clean. It’s all in the prep.
Everyone likes stuff different. I honestly like it and it’s holding up great
Great video cool project
Thank you lots more videos to go.
The house on that thing is wrecked! Still, if the undercarriage is good for your needs, it's a pretty good find. Especially if you can make some back parting it out.
Yea it is worse than I thought tearing into it.
Neat build
Thank you
I was waiting for this update. Its coming together really nice! Do you gonna paint it when its finished?
Yes definitely will be painted with decals etc
500 gallons of water = 4.5K lbs. if balanced over the axles might be enough tongue weight with a pump forward of axles.
That’s exactly what I’m thinking need to get back to this project 🤦♂️
When you said all chippers gets cracks at around 500 hours. Where are the common places the cracks appears?
I’ll have to make a video of a newer morbark and bandit and explain. See it a lot around the yoke areas etc
A running chipper is the perfect combination for metal fatigue and stress cracks!! Super Heavy and very rigid ….. and all that is getting shaken violently as it’s eating logs !!
