Warning - Occasional flashing lights and colours, this channel is specifically designed to be visually over-stimulating, and it’s all dedicated to my cat MOKI.
I create these shots by getting a short movie of Moki and applying very heavy effects, then saving the video and repeating the process until there’s hardly any cat at all!

Ngl sounds interesting, do I get to be on the thriving side? I'm aware this is a very Earth based question, but you never know
Yeah you’re thriving, resources everywhere :)

Still getting the hang of it :)
Interesting effects! Is this something you created/generated? I use fractals a lot in my videos but always interested in other effects and particle animations etc - liked 👍
Hi and thanks for the first comment on this channel :) I create these shots by getting a short movie and applying a very heavy effect of some kind, then I save the video and re-edit it, this time zooming in on a detailed part of the screen that is doing something particularly interesting. Then I apply another heavy effect and repeat that process until what’s left has no resemblance to the original video at all. I find it really relaxing and a good creative outlet. The idea began when I was trying to create interesting images to play over my videos that I do for my other channel. It’s called Gearfacts. I demonstrate music gear which is good for listening but not a particularly interesting thing to watch. So I began creating these weird artworks to reflect the way the music was sounding. Then, just last week, I decided that they were worthy of a channel in their own right :-)
@@Gearfiction ok thanks, that's interesting. I thought it was maybe some sort generated particle effect form specialist software, so you've guised it very well. What gear do you demonstrate? Guitar is my main instrument but I have synths and always interested in modulates for that too. Glad to have given you a first comment, it's always nice to know people have watched your vids. I'm happy to see more of your vids pop up and watching and supporting, so fancy swapping subscriptions as it's a free way to help both our algorithms, I'll start by subbing you 👍
@@NepenthesSloth Yes I'm happy to swap subs :) My main channel is Gearfacts ua-cam.com/users/glynnmasterman
@@Gearfiction Oh!! I thought you were like a new starter on YT and I was giving an encouraging hand ...and then I see your other channel and like it has 46k subs! lol (just got one more as well, I like to hear honest and non paid for reviews) So this channel is just your private experimenting with visual channel or something (?) - still fun to see whatever. I'm UK based by have family and friends in Oz, been there a fair few times
@@NepenthesSloth Oh cool, I'm originally from Jersey myself. This new channel (Geared Weird) is just for the visuals I created. As said, it's become a relaxing hobby. Nice thing to do in bed to get me sleepy :)
