The only problem I have is I can get him to go in, he’ll stand for like 15 minutes then try to back out again, I’ve tried reassuring him to stand with pats and moved onto treats. As soon as I walk away he’s back out again

This is the safety clip I mentioned. I only tie my horse to these. I also use them on the end of my crossties in my barn. I would think that selective breeding could eventually eliminate this. It’s awful. My friends horse had the same problem….he was a QH Appy.
