i first saw this on tumblkr like 2 months ago and I have consistently been thinking about this like. every other day oh my gooooooooood the editing of the first pre-chorus with john and sam arguing hits so hard and of course like the usage of the characters work sooo well augh when the bad fathers show has fathers that are bad in it!!!!!!!

I've watched this video like five times and I keep coming back to it. It's so beautiful! Rhythmically and visually for sure (the match up at the point where lestat says I can take away your sorrow louis!!) but then also your thematic choices... 'in the quiet dark, we were equal' plus the opera scene... 'my father was a gambling man' + lestat at the table, still in his old fashioned outfit no less. the opening sequence of course is absolutely brilliant. thank you so much!!

Jacob’s extraordinary versatility makes Louis very difficult-to-impossible replicate or even to expand upon. When an actor defines a character that explicitly and elegantly, it means that the role will ALWAYS be defined by his/her portrayal of the character. No other role on the series is defined as explicitly. Jacob IS Louis!
