Absolutely amazing bike. It's got a lot more soul than todays bikes, that's for sure. This bike has stood the test of time like few do. I was stunned to know that kawasakis ninja sx1000 is SLOWER than this? Even though it's got some 140 horses. Goes to show that although technology has made huge leaps forward, ZZR 1100 still smites like lightning. It's not only the power whats great either, It's the perfect mix of comfort, everyday rideability and performance. Also the power deliverance is smooth and pulls very well from low down. I can't emphasize the comfort too much, it's amazing how effortless it is to ride this, the riding position is just right, at least for me. (170cm) Also got to love the chain adjustment. A 5 minute job! Absolutely a bargain nowadays.

at 1.59 the 1987 RG250 was a parallel twin not a V-twin,at 3.31 the 1993 model engine wasnt upgraded from 90 degrees to 70 degrees it changed to a 70 degree v- twin in 1996 which was a VJ23,the VJ21 & VJ22 had the 90 degree engine through its production range
