Bleaching powder VS Developer Where is the power?
We all know the LIGHTENER HAS “X” levels of LIFT.
The more levels it lifts the stronger it is, the stronger it is the more aggressive it is, the more aggressive it is the more potential damage can be done.
The longer the bleach is on the hair, the slower bleaching action becomes ,regardless of the starting strength of peroxide. Bleaching the hair slowly allowed the bulbs from the chemical reaction to escape through the cuticle layer without extreme damage. Lightening hair quickly causes more violent bubbling and the cuticle layer becomes damaged.
🔐SAVE THIS:
The LIFT is in the TUBE
The POWER is in the POWDER
LIFT IS DETERMINED BY SECTIONING SIZE
Developer = speed

So it's the powder that does all the bleaching?? I thought it was that the developer because why is the ratio 1: 3 for let's say bleach bath or whatever they call that where just just want minimal lift over already bleached strands.
I need help guys I know nothing about hair dye 1. If you use semi permanent dye with developer will you be able to go back to your natural hair color?
What is your natural colour and what is the level of developer? If you are blonde or light brown, the blue dye will not go away completely. You can apply color remover ( bleach with 10 volumes).
Be careful now this is not the case for every developer, bleach blonde me gold 30vol can defo do some work
You must have done somthing wrong my brother put 20 volume in his hair before and it turned his hair red 😂
Yeah everyone's hair is different. The hair used in this demonstration might be more coarse or have a lower porosity than your brother's hair. But developer can lift on it's own, it just takes a while without any heat source
Developer on its own does nothing but with color it does. How much it lifts depends on developer level.
Exactly 👌🏾
See I thought it was the developer that does the lifting. Like when you're toning; they say it's best to stick with the lower volume developers rather than a 20V which will in turn lighten your hair?? Now I'm so so confused
The one that cannot bleach is not real hair
Hair piece already brown
This comparison is stupid. Arent we supposed to mix developer and bleach powder together? And not use developer alone?
No it's not stupid, it just demonstrates why they're used in combination. Also, 30 & 40 volume can lift by themselves if left on for long enough or with added heat.
Ig developer cream is supposed to be mixed with the colour and thn applied to your hair
Confused. Why would anyone use only developer to bleach their hair?🤔
Who even did that? I don't think so in a professional hair salon 😂
So I tested it because I had a relaxer in my chair and was leary about developer. It's basically a color remover when you do this. It works and I found it useful. About to do it again instead of a soap cap ha ha.
It’s OK if you only want to lighten a level or two and don’t want to use powder lightener
Some hairdressers use it on clients that don’t want to bleach their hair but want something lighter, for example if you wanted blondish highlights on dyed brown hair, you could mix the highest blond with developer 40 and it would definitely give you results
Bleach powder is very alkaline and Will cause more damage than developer alone. Developer with heat or left on for at least an hour can lift 1-4 levels depending on the hair type.
What strength developer did you use?
Is that 30 developer?
I loved the colour of developer ❤❤
What is the strength of the devloper is it 30V?
Thanks. I don’t have developer lol need this
So developer is no use ?? I can simply use bleach as that is what lighten the colour. Fantastic.
What kind of developer did you use?
H²O look like ??
Thank you ...I must have watched 200 vids today this was what I was looking for😁
Fr same here
Are u for real pls reply
