Hello fellow artists and aspiring animators!
This channel is dedicated to all the young aspiring artists who want to grow in their art and learn more about animation! I am a full time digital arts and animation teacher located in Central California, and although I teach in-person and online classes, I created this channel to give everyone who is interested the chance to learn about the tools and techniques I use in my art! Hopefully you find these videos helpful and inspiring and ultimately I hope you find a safe community here on this channel of like-minded artists.
My goal is to someday open an in-person art studio here in my hometown, but for now I think offering classes online through OutSchool.com as well as posting regularly to this channel is a great way to get started in building a community. How To Animate in ROUGH ANIMATOR

if you press modify layers and press add empty layer then you have another layer

Hello!!! I've been using rough animator for a while now and I think it's AWSOME it gave me the best animating experience so far!!! Everything is perfect, but I have only ONE issue: Is there anyways I can render shadows without having to repeat the process over and over again? I do found a way ti shade, but it turned messy akajsbbsja Regardless if you reply or not, this video is super cool and the dog animation is fantastic!!! Thanks a lot!
Thanks so much for the comment and compliments! I'm so glad you like my videos 🤩 I have not found a way to make shadows/highlights or ANY fx and rendering easier unfortunately...so I usually have to use multiple programs to actually create a fully finished animation. The program is great, but definitely has its limitations...

I'll try using some more programs to make my animations look nicer akksks anyways, Rough Animator is the only reason I got back to animating, I was so stressed with Flipa Clip aaaargh I wa surprised how comfortable it was to animate on Rough Animator! How do you tween and rotate?
So…I haven’t found any way to tween in rough animator…but if you use the lasso tool, you can rotate, scale, and move :) hopefully that helps!

@@johnguy3682 I enjoy flipaclip, but I'm not sure about Android apps, so hopefully that works on them! I'll be posting a video on Flipaclip soon!
Can you tween in Rough Animator?

LOL, well…to be fair, I’ve had LOTS of practice and schooling 😅
Rough Animator is awesome. You can also import the files in Adobe Animate and Toon Boom Harmony.
Oh awesome, that's actually great to know because I have Adobe Animate on my computer! It would be nice to use both for my next little short animation. Thanks! :)

@@ladybubsstudio your welcome, oh and I don't sound rude but I wanted to give suggestion, I think there's an app where you can cut out the background sound but I can't exactly remember and Don't know what app you use to edit this amazing video but I'm willing to help if you need editing tool or what (but that is on you if you prefer help) I'm not much of an editor myself but I'm willing to help people who would like to start out, in the end I'll still support you along the way (also sorry if I sound like I'm making a deal im not i just thought you might want some help)
