I was an EN on a diesel powered ship that was commissioned in 1944, AS-19 This video makes the job look easy....one of my happiest days was getting transferred out of the Aft. Engine Room to a gig in the Small Boat Crew..that was a blast 1979-1982.. On Motor Whaleboat Watch the EN gets the M-16 to shoot sharks during Man Overboard Drills

The Harrier can taxi in reverse and descend in reverse, so this is not much of a "reverse" landing for a Harrier.
