Love you brother hope you had a wonderful holiday!
I'm having such a hard time being excited about Christmas this year.😔🙏❤️
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Spend your life helping people get back up and you wont have to worry so much about your own fall. Love it brother, have a wonderful week all!
I pray for the work you are doing and open the hearts to the laity of your church.
Come Holy Spirit!
Thanks Deacon Jim. God bless
Thank you Jesus for dying for me. I love you. Amen
When we crucify our flesh, and allow the spirit of God to dwell within us, we become like Him. That's our saving grace. Choosing to pick up our cross daily, and crucify our flesh daily, we prove to God that we are trying. He doesn't expect perfection. But we indeed all have crucified Him. Before we chose to crucify our own flesh.
Thank you so much for sending these. 🙏🏼❤️ God bless you all.
Thanks DcJim ! God bless
Very welcome
I love that i can watch your videos and learn and worship outside of church as well. Thank you Deacon Jim!
Thanks Dc. Jim
Thanks Deacon for your sharing
❤
Love the practical application of your message. Thanks Jim.
Not sure why this was recommended to me but I guess it’s as good of a chance as any to ask something that confuses me about religion. Why does an omnipotent and omniscient being need to test his creation with tragedy? Surely a creator without flaw doesn’t make creations that require testing. And if the creator is flawed, why should that creator be worshipped?
Merry Christmas Jim to you and your wife. Have a safe and wonderful trip back to North Carolina to spend Christmas with your daughter and future Son in Law. Jeff
Reflect on next questions 👉 The Prophetic Messiah • Do you put together the Good News and the social justice Gospel? • Who are people we have tended to exclude? Choice of the 12 • When did you embrace discipleship? What shape has that taken in your life? The Sermon of the Plain • Which of the Lucan Beatitudes resonate with you? Which one do you struggle with? • Why did Luke include the four Woes? Which resonate? The Mystery of Forgiveness • When you forgive someone, do you view them as God sees them? • Are there some people you have trouble forgiving? Peter’s Confession of Faith • Who do you say that Jesus is? What are the implications for your life?
Thank you !
Thank you Deacon Jim for the homily. Question. Jesus teaching us through “Samaritans” loving thy neighbor. What comes to mind are: The Good Samaritan, Samaritan woman at Jacob well and todays reading, the Samaritan Leper. What’s the meaning when Samaritans who hated the Jews then were most receptive to God’s blessings. Your thoughts appreciated.
Thank you Deacon for the homily. Just came back from a solo pilgrimage to south of Italy. Feast of San Gennero and San Padro Pio. What I learned/ discerned that God’s graces are to be shared. The more these are shared with others, the more graces God ‘s bestow on one. It’s like an “infinite circle” of graces. Receive. Give back. More is receive from above. Ad Infinitum!

Thank you Deacon. Enjoyed your homily. Also listened to Bishop Barron reflection on today’s reading. I always always believed that “… give us this day our daily bread…” referred to the holy Eucharist. Bishop Barron confirmed what I always believed. With references to the Greek and Latin translation. Please check it out. God bless.
Thanks Deacon Jim. Great way to begin my jspiritaul ourney during Lent.
Thanks Deacon
Deacon. About depression. My daughter's friend - 33 year old with two master degrees - suffers from deep depression, anxiety, ocd where she hurt her arms, legs, body and in all that misery, she keeps going and resisting her dark suicidal thoughts by repeating over and over again: Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Amen. She is not Catholic. And oh how she loves Jesus.
Thank you Deacon. Following your youtube video it brings to mind St Paul letter to the Philipians 1:18 "What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice." Amen,
Thank you Deacon. Love makes "the world go around and around."
I love that we are able to find new and innovative ways to workshop and share in fellowship. :) Looing forward to participating
Deacon Jim. Loved your reflection. It reminds me of this quote: "To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement. St. Augustine of Hippo Posting it on ky tweeter account (almost 1000 followers.) Tags: adventure, confessions
Thank you Deacon. I shared your great reflection with Tweeter.
Thanks Deacon Jim for another insightful and truly spiritual homily.
Thank you Deacon Jim. As always I enjoyed your talk and Q&A. I find it extraordinary that Abraham would not challenge God when asked to sacrifice his only son Isaac as that would have meant the end of God's covenant with His chosen people. Never heard that before until now. From my limited knowledge of the bible, most prophets - major or minor - challenged God. But not Abraham! Abraham faith and in particular trust in God is ever so inspiring. Thank you for the great teaching.
Thank you Deacon. Always learning listening to your homilies on UA-cam or via emails. Also thank you for the link you kindly fowarded to me. Most interesting link. God bless you.
Thank you, Deacon. I am enjoying your youtube homilies. Hope your viewing figures will improve with time.
Thank you Deacon Jim for this beautiful homily. The message of moving towards Jesus (and living according to God’s will) and self-giving love to others (without any expectations in return) is so important now, more than ever before. Your homily is full of hope and encouragement to live like Jesus showed/taught us.
Checked Henry Ossana Tanner painting - a pensive and reflective painting of Mary. Love it.
Thank you Deacon. Short version will be helpful to all those who follow you on youtube. Que Dieu vous benisse..
Beautifully spoken. Thank you. Subscribed!
Thanks Deacon Jim.
