I am a self-taught artist living in sunny Western Australia. I enjoy painting people, pets and special places in the contemporary realism style. Over the past 30 or so years I have created many commissioned works for private collectors, helping them to preserve precious memories and create family heirlooms that are passed on from generation to generation.

I have also enjoyed a long career as an art teacher but, sadly, had to step away from the classroom for health reasons. As I adapt to life with less "spoons" I'd like to use my better days to share my painting process, some painting techniques and other interesting arty bits and pieces through this channel to help others. You are invited to follow along, and watch me grow and make mistakes as I adjust to a new life outside the school gates!
