Gorgeous sound quality from your gramophone 💖🎶💖
Very kind 🙂
Absolutely!
I will do some more research on this one.
Thanks!
Not sure of make but cabinet style c1924, I bought this as a 14 year old in 1968 for £2 ! Apologies for late reply.
Thanks for the comment. Keep watching !
Cheers
Cheers Emma !

Lyrics: "Rirurururuhu du du du du rou rou rou ri Ri riririririririririririrurururururururiririririrururuririruriririririrurriiriririrurirururiruririruriririririririririiriruririruirururirururiuriririririruriruririruririruriruriririirurururiruriruruririirurururururiruriruriruririririiriririririrururiruiriririruririiririririiriruririririrurururiruururuririruruririuriririrururuiriruruririururururururururirururuririurururururiririrururuuririruriririririririruriruururirururiruruririruririrurueiruuriririririririrururiruririrururirururiururirurururiiririruruririiriririririririiririririruurururuururirururururururuRuu!" Such a powerful and beautiful message!😎
Great version!
My favorite band! Delightful lighthearted instrumental version of this song.
Great fun !
One of my favorite sad songs - lovely to see it spinning via a 78 on a gramophone - adds to the poetry
Thanks for listening !
Love those early Brunswicks. You sure got a needle tin collection.
Thanks for listening - tin collection ongoing !
This is always a classic... One of Ben Selvin's best from 1925. And super nice early electric recording (even the piano picks up okay!). Thank you!
Thanks for listening ! 🙂
Thank you for sharing all these old recordings! Feels so nostalgic. (Even though I'm 38)
Glad you enjoy it!
It's lovely uncle Duncan. Just spoken to my dad. He sends his love to everyone x
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
Don't you have reservations about playing a rare record on an early acoustic player? I wouldn't do it.
As long as he use'es a new needle after every play.
@@Bigband78 So I've heard. I still wouldn't do it.
As far as I’m concerned, this is the only way to play them
@@moldyoldie7888 I change my needles for every play, I’ve been collecting since 1966, I have records that I played then, that I still play now - no deterioration in quality of sound.
@@duncsdiscs I read years ago that early records played on early phonographs were good for 75 plays before the quality went noticeably south. That's why I don't recommend it.
Wonderful recording.
Thanks !
Love those saxes!
Me too!
Very nice. I have a version on Eclipse 8". Thanks 😀👍
Thanks for listening !
Up tempo version - unlike Al Bowlly's much softer and slightly haunting version
Great to hear this -I have only heard the Al Bowlly version until now
Glad you like you !
Wonderful sound from your Gramophone - lovely vocal from Sam - one of the great dance band singers
Lovely
Fantastic San !!!
I didn't know that song was that old! Linda scott sang it in 1962-63! Thank you
Another old song that became a surprise soft-rock hit: "Love Letters in the Sand," recorded by Benny Goodman in 1931.
A lovely new year to all and a very jolly little ditty
Sounds like Seger Ellis on vocals, rather than the ultra corny Tom Stacks.. Pleasant record
Scrappy Lambert here
Happy Christmas from Brazil 🎄
Smooth as silk..
Excellent 👍
I like the fact that they started with the song's rarely heard verse. It's a perfectly nice dance record of the time and quite listenable today.
A fun Christmas song indeed! Quite right about the bonbons, still got a tin full of novelties from bonbons my aunt bought cheap at post-Christmas sales when I was a kid. Certainly no snow here Down Under. Merry Christmas!
Happy Christmas to you.
Merry Christmas 🎄
I tot I saw a pussycat 😊
