@@FlyLikaEagle4140 the work starts next video my friend.
How tall are you ??? I have completed my XC Woods banshee, this year and the results are absolutely amazing. I'm 5"8. The only thing left and I have decided is the foot pegs/nef bars.

That dust is thick!
Minus two is a lot. I have a fireball minus one and noticed a big difference over stock
@@Floridawoodsbanshee I couldn't decide between 1" and 2". From the racing I've been doing on this thing for the past 2 seasons, I finally decided I was going all the way since I was doing the work. I didn't want to take 1" then regret it. So we'll see how it works out. May be a pendulum....
Impressive! What pre mix & ratio?
@@mmholling87 50/50 - 93 pump with 110 race fuel. Fuel/oil ratio is 24:1. Jetted a tad rich and boy I was happy I did.
@YerzengaPerformance sweet. I never understand why so many people are obsessed with the whole less is more when it comes to oil. East g
@@mmholling87 couldn't agree more with you. The common claim is that "today's oils are so much better". But I have had the good fortune of working with some tribologists for some time now and have learned that not much has changed in terms of piston rings and their interaction with the cylinder wall. 2strokes haven't changed a whole lot since their conception, and not too long ago, most manufacturer service manuals called for 32:1 or thicker. We should be careful to think we know better.
@YerzengaPerformance I agree 100%. More oil equals better lubrication and better ring sealing, both of which are important. I run 32:1 with Maxima K2. People try to get the correct A/F ratio by adjusting their oil content, which is the wrong approach. More oil, which equals less fuel and makes your A/F ratio leaner and less oil means more gas, which means you're going to richer for the same volume of fuel. What pre mix brand are you running? Most love castor 927.
@@mmholling87 yes. I agree. More oil means greater viscosity and less volume moving through the jet = leaner. But I do consider that when your jets get big enough this is less of a concern. But we still have to do our job to check everything. For this race I was using a off-the-shelf Lucas semi-synthetic. I ran that oil all last year season and most of this season. Only until the end of this season did a switch to Klotz BeNol. The first half of this season I was running AV 100 fuel with the Lucas semi-synthetic and I didn't have any issues.
That what the other parents were freaking out about
@@dirtsquadatv2714 just an inconvenient situation where my boy was going to be in the way of someone else no matter what due to getting T-boned and spun around in that corner. Unfortunate.
Looks dusty bikes sound good 👊
This course looks terrible!! Do you guys race it every year?
@@ReelQuadLife Yes. This was the second time for the MOXC series. Final round of this year and the final round of last year. It's only terrible because it's an ORV Park. So most of the track has to be taped. And tons of guys blew the tape and screwed it all up. The tracks where it's mostly woods are far better in that regard. The ORV parks are a challenge.
@@YerzengaPerformance it definitely looks like a challenge, that's for sure. I plan on doing the MOXC series next year. I can't wait I'm pretty stoked
@@ReelQuadLife it would be great to have you out there. It has been a great series so far. Well organized and great people. Todd and Derek run the series and they do a great job. Going through that issue. Picked up an 06 for $100. Hadn't been running in few years. Sat out back of friends garage. Idk if they knew it was even 2cyl. They actually thought it was a 90cc. Sensor on carb isn't working and bogging under load. Been putting it all back together. Cleaning and getting it back closer to the factory. Want to put 2 cyl tank in . Only for the look. Starting to get little frustrated with the bog but am educating myself to make the proper repairs to get it right. Great video BTW.
@@johnramirez5996 that's a steel brother. I'd grab any blaster for $100 if it had the engine all there. If your engine can still some how rev up, but struggles with a bogg, it may not be this tors issue. So just be careful and patient in your troubleshooting. Check the carb boot (between the carb and the reed cage) for dry-rot cracks under the bottom part by the clamp. A leak in your intake system after the carb can also create a similar bog. So make sure your reed cage isn't cracked, make sure the reeds are sealing properly and check that carb boot for cracks. For the blaster and the banshee, I add a paper gasket and a little gasket maker between the carb boot and the reed cage - I do not trust that factory integrated o-ring in the carb boot. If you take your time to do a leak-down test, it should help to determine if and where a leak may be coming from. Don't give up on that old thing. Keep on wrenching brother.
@@YerzengaPerformance been going through everything I run across. The tors isn't functioning and am ordering new seals and intake boot. Had it apart but reeds seemed ok. Compression is awesome. I have compression tools. Quads aren't the only thing I work on. Snowmobiles cars trucks pretty much everything.
@@johnramirez5996 Did you check the fuel jets to see if any are clogged?
@@d.l.horton2093 yes. Went as far as buying new carb and reeds. You can tell it wants to take off. So I'm putting back all the bypassed wires including the cdi yellow black wire. Starting back to normal with new parts. Even get new fuel shut off with extra fuel jet. Have to check new one . Might be 230. It runs better than before still cuts down then rev throttle with clutch in . Picks up. But not full throttle yet.

Good video. I didn't think about putting a grease zirk on it.
@@Floridawoodsbanshee Thank you sir. I simply could not take the rattle anymore. And most of the banshee guys in our racing series have the rattle too. So I figured there may be some other guys out there that would want to see this simple remedy.
That O ring wears out fast. They sell a cheap repair kit on Amazon for something like 8$. I just matched up the O ring at Ace Hardware and bought a dozen of them. Very easy to replace. I'm not sure why most people don't do it.
What brand carving bit are u using?
I like to get my burs from McMaster Carr. If you do, get one for harder metals like iron and steel. They will last longer as long as you keep them cool during use and rust free when you store them.
U hone it ur self if so what tool you use and also what carving bit are u using on this video?
I use a combination of my DeWalt 20v grinder and a cordless drill. And the burr I use is from McMaster car. Many options on type of burr. But try to get one for harder metal. It will cost more but will last if you keep it cool and don't put it away rusty.
