Nice garden! I grew some jalapenos this year that aren't spicy at all. They just taste like a regular green pepper LOL
Thank you. I am so ready to make some hot sauce. If only those peppers would turn red. I got habenaro, cayenne, mushroom red pablano and of course jalepenos.
@@libby6773 mine are taking forever to ripen. I finally just had one bell pepper start to turn red. And 2 of my sweet banana peppers have turned orange and are turning somewhat red now. But all the rest are still yellow. I'm going to pick a bunch to make a dish tomorrow. I also wish I planted some different hot peppers besides the jalapenos that I planted that aren't hot at all LOL

we love ours too. that black thing is a type of feeder. the birds around here dont like it.

Blue Birds. not abandoned. the parent birds are always close by.
@@libby6773, I found a baby bird as a kid in the '80s about the same age and fed it live meal worms from the pet store, turned out to be a scrub jay ( central FL ) and when released a month later he / she came by the house daily for the next 2 1/2 years then one day disappeared . Very cool experience.

the tops were dying. we knew they werent ready. just wanted to see. lol
I am thinking that even with the plastic lining those baskets allow the water to evaporate too quickly. Try something more solid with drain holes on the bottom? I am no potato expert though. Struggle with them myself.
when wedug them up the soil was really dry. even tho we water daily. maybe you are right about the baskets.
