Spiritually is necessary but use discernment because organized religion is business first. That's why Jesus flipped the tables and only Matthew said "forgive me for I have sinned" by taking taxation for hope. Don't misunderstand without religion for most ppl they are lost because death has not resurrected them but for many like your authorities and your poverty stricken that's life thats a "don't threaten me with a good time" good time show, iykyk if you believe in organized religion pray that the actual powers that be dont smite you down to prove you're their child first but if you are stricken don't be angry because you're likely meant to do amazing things in the seen and unseen
