@@robertmathye9072 not sure if your aware but this is a rewrite/what if. And I chose to mash the games and the anime with my own take, and in the games.. Lily was the one looking after cosmog.

Your self insert is pretty OP dude, good video and I am interested in where this goes, but it takes me out of the story if you're just going to make yourself so powerful when it's convenient without training on screen. I know your starter has battle bond, but it just knows dig even though you just got it without any training on screen? And that friendship power up against your rival was not needed, I mean you brought up the high five you just did like it was an iconic moment from a flashback after a season of character development or something... Again I'm interested in the story and you said yourself that you're making the story fast paced but that's no excuse for sloppy storytelling in my opinion. I'll continue watching to see your improvement as I'm interested in seeing where the story goes.

My issue with Ash being World Champion is that he didn't earn it. Hell, I'd argue he didn't even deserve to be in top 8 as he was no where near as good as the other competitors. To add insult to injury, he was beating champions who had been training with the same pokemon for years with pokemon he's only had for 1-3 months, yet that makes him better? I'm sorry, but he only became world champion because the pokemon company probably wanted to move away from Ash and focus on a new protagonist, which is great as I feel like Ash should have stopped being the protagonist at the end of Johto and have each new region focus on a new protag.
I hope part 2 is coming along well
