I have same problem asus rog stix g15 water fell on it woked for a min and fans started running full speed and auto turn off what can i do bro no power on no lights

I got the issue that no RGB light,charging light. No life of the laptop. No even showing the light of charger indicator what happend to this.

I got the same problem today at this moment and I don’t know if this really gonna work it I’m waiting for my laptop for the low battery’s hope it gonna work

It works for me i just clean the keyboard connector with eraser

@fixexe This really helped a lot thanks m8. Have unplugged the battery, wait 20m, swap the 2 ssd just in case, and plug again. Wen logged in, Armor Crate advise one app was draining aGPU even wen is not pronpt to start with windows, was the Google Play Games.exe don't know if that's the reason, but don't use anyway, just installed to see if works 😅😅 Now, do you know why this happen, or a long time fix? why don't you just cut the end of the keyboard data ribbon with a pair of scissors and see what happens !!!!

Ty man, I managed to fix it with this tip, I can also use the keyboard, once the charger light was on, I plugged the keyboard back in and the power light is still here then I closed my pc and it runs normally. I dont have to put the screwdriver on the sensitives metal pieces (i dont think its good in the long run)

My Asus G513Q stopped working. Bought it in 2021 and use it maybe 3-5 times a year. So it's in relatively good shape. Today it just didn't boot up. No light when plugged in. Wtf?

I have asus tuf a15 and i changed the thermol paste (not liquid metal) and checked the temps it was overheating so i reapplied the thermal paste and its not turning on help me pls. I tried to turn it on but it won't show any light or something but after sometime the power button red light is on and one indicator light but no display or anything help me pls

Ive taken this model to customer service with same issue and they changed the keyboard and power button.now everything works fine

I got this same issue on my strix g16 yesterday and today I took it to the service centre as it was under warranty, they told me that it was caused by the keyboard and they will replace it

Guys I tried the battery method and it didn’t work.. I tried the keyboard method and it works now but only with my charger plugged in. Watch his other video about how to fix it but with the keyboard method. Then plug the keyboard off, connect the pins with some metallic tool, and then the laptop will start, after that you plug the keyboard back in and it will work.. but it’s not permanent as in my case I have to let my laptop in standby mode or it will turn off in 1 second after I plug it off. It is fucked up

This is what worked for me and thanks to this channel for his dedication,remove the keyboard connector and bridge pin 5 to any ground point on the motherboard if you are confused where pin 5 is, count from the side of the battery connector or you can use multimeter on the keyboard pins and check for 3.3v or 3.2v that's your power switch pin

I had the same problem...I used your method and it turned on but i can see there is a problem with the power button when i press it brightness is going up and down. And my laptop is not shutting down. If i press shutdown even in my computer screen by alt+f4 the pc restarts. What to do in this case?

Why does the backlight work when the keyboard is off? Is the backlight powered by a separate cable?

Reason why I use an external keyboard since I bought my ROG from day 1. I have had this problem on my old laptop and the cause is that the multiple keys were registering a continuous high at the same time, so pressing the power button would not do anything and it does actually affect the power. I have had the similar problem with my old Xiaomi phone where I would press the power button but it would also press the volume-up key or would cause a continuous high on the volume key and the power button. This caused the phone to boot-loop continuously.

I can confirm that this works, but in my case, it sometimes requires disconnecting the keyboard ribbon cable for a period before reconnecting it and THEN shorting the start-up pins (after which the ribbon cable can be reattached, and the keyboard used normally). Problem is, the keyboard goes dead again following shutdown, prompting a repeat of the whole process. Does anyone have any insight into how complex such a repair would be? Is this something that can be handled as a board-level repair by local repair shops, or does it pretty much necessitate a manufacturer board replacement (likely a cost prohibitive option for those of us whose laptops are no longer under warranty)?

I have strix g15 g531 gt and when i plug in the charger i only get the airplane mode light. Many people with same Model as me are facing the same issue on reddit. Do you know what is casuing the issue? Not booting no lights on keyboard although a few weeks ago it started randomly and shut itself down after few minutes then same issue

Keyboard issue resolved 💯 through the heat of the hair dryer or heat gun on keyboard strip jeck prints!

This is a Keyboard issue confirmed resolved 💯 by just unplugging the keyboard strip then connecting with charger. The laptop power light will be on, then on the laptop through the keyboard jeck prints by touching the screw driver after you just connect the keyboard strip. Everything works perfectly

Guys i have the same laptop and the same issue, i unplugged battery jeck, nothing done but after unplugging the keyboard strip then connecting the charger laptop, charging light on but keyboard is not working, you can power on laptop through screw driver on keyboard jeck prints, keyboard issue resolved through the heat of hair dryer and keyboard issue works 💯 ok, Guys this video really help me! After disconnecting the keyboard strip then connecting the charger to my laptop light shows on, Thanks bro...but for turn on the system Keyboard not working then on with screw driver on prints of keyboard strip jeck, after on laptop then connect keyboard strip, everything works perfectly!

Same issue, Asus is spoiling his fans & customers. This video tricks works but issue come again after some days or month..
