Thanks sharing this session. I am new to gist. Just to point out that has address is not that useful or precise. Someone cannot have address. The address can be used by someone for some purpose. (residence, work place, etc)

Congratulations on the removal of inverses. I think it's the right move since it removes a lot of names that users of gist need to memorize, and make gist simpler, which is a great thing. About the discussion about the drawbacks of inference, it seems to me that inference is great until you actually try to use it on dynamic data, since the cost is not trivial. I would really love to use eye and n3 in a Jena app but it's practically impossible to use it in a server since everytime you change a single triple you need to rerun the inferencing from scratch, which defeats the point of using inferencing at all to implement logic, so I'm back writing application code that performs transformation to triples.

The problem with OriginTrail is that it can't be explained simply. A decentralized, central repository structured as a standards based knowledge graph which sends data hashes to Blockchain for verifiability. It is revolutionary, the question is how much use it will see. To me, it seems that the potential use cases are of global significance. Especially in light the EPCIS 2.0 and GS1 Digital Link for individual unit level traceability. Think about the supply chain and traceability potential. This should be eventually worth billions of dollars.

The governance bit sounds a lot like SOLID.
