This is A VR Souls Like? - Until You Fall
You can even save up for a 2nd hand steam deck and only buy games in 90 percent sales there’s one on right now
All you need is Mount&Blade Warband. That thing could run of school PC, netbook, and even old 2018ish android phone with winlator.
@berthold64 I'm looking into doing a video on winlater. It's came along way recently. And the performance is getting nuts on newer phones
I use my old tab and phone to use emulator
I am the RatedRMafiaDon
72hz doesnt cause stuttering lol and max bitrate isnt 550 you can go up to 900 if you want just copy and paste the value and try to never use steamvr by use of opencomposite its a huge performace killer
Or use remote desktop app
You should have mentioned cloud gaming, Nvidia GeForce now has a free tier and it's the best in terms of latency
the free tier sucks
Bro.. My country's economy is so cooked a 70 dollar games equal to 20 days worth of work 💀💀💀
@@ayoubghali999 😂 damn. Ide just quit gaming at that rate
@@bignipchris not really man, when that is the situation, people except it and look for other options, piracy, we don't see it stealing, but our economy forced us to see the official product as the robbery.
@ayoubghali999 I completely understand that. Not that I condone any piracy. But it's like playstation 2 games. Trying to get original copies of a product they don't sell anymore. People still want to experience what they missed out on and the only option is piracy
Argh 🏴☠️🦜
£70 for new games is ridiculous, they're all half made micro transaction filled crap. It's not that I can't afford new games but I just refuse to pay for crap. All these new games coming out will be 30% of the price next year and they will be fully patched! That's when I would pick them up.
@@LeKretch it has got bad. Even most free to play games are now better than £70 price tagged new games
highly agree i used to buy like games alot now i barely buy them since u never know if its buggy mess or just filled with microtransactions ngl im excited for silent hill 2 remake but i wouldnt pay 70€ for it that to me is just too much like tf i have my ways of getting games :D
Another great alternative is cloud gaming. I use geforce now which is $10 a month, or $120 a year. Much cheaper than investing in a console or pc. I am considering switching to boosteroid soon which is about $16 a month or $192 a year. Still much cheaper than investing in a gaming pc if you have the internet to handle it. Gaming PCs run about $1000 for a decent one that will last about 5 years. At $192 a year for five years that is $960. By that point you will need to invest in a new pc. If you only use your pc for gaming, internet, and microsoft office you can use what you have. Food for thought.
@luiegiii it has got quite popular lately with cloud streaming. And even the game pass is really good for it. Might be worth investing in one of the cloud gaming handhelds
I actually played half life 2 on a smart tv once
@@Qwik999 there's so much you can do now it's insane
thanks. Mainly because prime gaming. And due to i live in india prime is 20$ fo a year
@@shanthanump2858 my pleasure 😂
What’s the first game in the background?
warframe
Bro it's ark survival evolved
I was thinking the same subject over the years. It was fun to see a video about it. Gaming sector is now so big that you can literally play only free to play games and that would be enough. You don't even need to pirate or emulate them. There are lots of choices and games, games which are ready to take your time. But of course in a realistic scenario, even if we don't have a strong pc, there are still lots of amazing games which are sold for dirt cheap. So in an consumung age, it's not only about playing or experiencing, it's about finding the right enjoyment for yourself. It's still horrfiying to think that you can access hundreds of games just paying 10 bucks to Xbox Game Pass ! So, although the point is not to how to easily play, choice the suitable one, I liked that video.
@AnlKeskinbas love the feedback 😀 and you make some great points. I'm glad you enjoyed it
Chivlary 2 is in top 3 games EVER. Never tried Mordhau, but it was hype 5-6 years ago :D
@@tonyantonio0139 it's still quite hype now 😂
nice and funny video dude! Just started playing chivalry a few days ago and it’s really frustrating and satisfying at the same time :)
@meddhy why thanks 😀 and it really is. Quite a difficult game to get the hang of
Chaos
I'm trying to play Alyx on the Quest 3 and it keeps telling me that my 4090 doesn't have enough memory available. I keep dropping the resolution and the refresh rate, and all the recommend settings in the debug tool. It stutters like crazy.
Apparently the 4090 is not vr ready yet and is still waiting for drivers to be released to make it vr ready but you can try this. It could work > >"Go to Computer Management → System Tools → Performance → Data Collector Sets → Event Trace Sessions. In this list, find HolographicShell, right click, and choose stop
I use a 4050 and a 330 mbps cable, and I'm pretty sure it's the cable's fault. You should test the cable as said in the video.
filmora 🔥
I had an AMD C-60 Netbook way back then and it could play much newer games much better and i played with an 5400rpm hdd. Weird to see such low FPS in Half Life.
@@Dreadnoughty just doesn't seem like a very supported laptop. It was hard finding any sort of drivers for this thing
Damn these VR are the more performance demanding devices than raytracing
@@sanketvaria9734 they really are. My rtx 4050 laptop doesn't meet minimum spec.for vr😂
@@bignipchris yeah, I am planning to upgrade from rtx 2070 super to rtx 4070 just for VR
@@sanketvaria9734 that will make a huge difference. Especially playing in higher resolutions if that's what your interested in
Loved this
I’m sure some of this will be useful but can I suggest that you slow down a bit. It’s something I notice in the vast majority of tutorial videos I watch that the person goes through things so quickly that it’s like watching on fast forward and having to go back multiple times to try and see what I should do. I know it makes the video longer but slowing down a bit makes it easier to follow and understand. Thanks.
@andybaker7954 I understand and appreciate your feedback. It's a awkward situation really because some people won't watch a long video as attention span isn't a thing anymore😂 but I'll definitely consider slowing it down. Or making it easier to follow🙂
Me? Me here. Awwhhh shucks ☺️ 6:24
Sorry For the stutters people. No idea whats gone on
I use virtual desktop. This is a great app for playing pc vr games with outstanding performance and quality.
If you have ethernet on your pc and a router in the room where you are playing
Batman have you heard of virtual desktop its a measily 20 dollars and over all the best streaming except ehen steam vr streaming actually works
Out of curiosity what gpu?

Oculus Debug Tool should be always running alongside your games btw.
I think it saves the settings
No harm in leaving it open. But i think restarting the oculus services sets the settings. I could be wrong though. I'll have to look into it

Thx for this video, it helped me a lot. But I still have audio issues. The sound keeps dropping out in one or even both ears. Im using the Soundcore Vr p10 for wireless vr gaming without delay. My dongle is plugged into an usb a to usb c adapter and when im watching yt videos on my pc it works totally fine but as soon as i use i for vr gaming the sound issue appears. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
That's interesting. I would look into getting wired earphones for the quest. I used these short wired earphones that attach along the headset to avoid wires dangling and they are fantastic. The only issue I could think of is bluetooth connectivity.(maybe try another pair of headphones and see if its any different). Or its a issue with the quest itself. And maybe try updating the quest and see if that fixes the issue. If non of them work I can try to look more into it for you
I have also used wired headphones before. The only ones I could find with a suitable cable were €12 on eBay. But the sound was not satisfactory at all and the cable annoyed me. I don't think it's the Quest's fault and I don't have any other headphones that I can use with the Quest. Because a headset doesn't really fit over my head strap. The Vr P10 headphones are actually the ideal solution that I bought specifically for VR. It's just the sound problem that's annoying. As I said, the headphones also work perfectly on my PC via the dongle. But as soon as the PC outputs sound via Quest Link or Steam VR, the sound problems occur. I don't really understand what difference that makes. Thank you in advance for trying to help me.
Just had a look into it. And it seems to be a issue with bitrate on the quest 2 via link. Some people suggest changing the bitrate to 0 to fix it. Seems to be a common issue with the quest and wireless audio
@@bignipchris only with quest 2? I use 3. I should adjust the bitrate in the debug tool right?
@@bignipchris Bitrate makes sense i guess, because the problem often occurs when I move my head.
This was genuinely very entertaining!!
