You have such a big and beautiful heart. I have been wanting to adopt a cat for some time now, but hesitate on the forever aspect of it all. I refuse to ever part ways, so I want to be ready. Going into fostering kittens and feeling all the pain of the eventual separation is an admirable thing, even if this is the only time. The dress of course looks amazing! I would have either added a shirred panel to the back with lacing over top (if fabric and time allowed) or a red zipper for extra spice! I followed your example and made a silver one for myself using a 3 feet piece of dowel from a hobby store. I bough some 1mm solid wire (40 cm long) from a shop and 4 packs of silver tinsel (5 metres each pack) from Amazon. I had an old tree stand and tin foil for the trunk, glue and stuff. It has 49 branches (8 rings of 6 branches) and one for the top. The whole lot was around £20 or $25
