Wait my unit dose not have all this info on the back, is the Unfused Data-PASS-THRU will also be available on it ? mine is the REG model.
The SMBus data pass-thru feature was introduced on newer units in early 2022. If your unit does not have this feature then it was manufactured/shipped before the feature was added.
I would love to add this to my sound bag! However, I think that a Hirose input connector to attach the battery to the unit would be more robust and reliable than a pre-attached cable. Guess I'll wait for MKIII!
Hi Paul. We have the eSMART BG-DU which has a Hirose input connector instead of a cable on the back panel. Replacing the BG-DH MKII's cable with an input socket is unfortunately not possible due to lack of space - that's why this unit is so small !
@@Audioroot Many thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I use a very lightweight setup to stay mobile, and I have limited space in my sound bag. While the eSMART BG-DU is small, it is not quite small enough to fit. Thank you once again, I appreciate your response.
