I grew up in Westchester Peekskill is my favorite city to visit. I know all these places in the video. I love walking along the Hudson there and taking in the views.
That's awesome. It is a special place if you are raised there.
I taught at Middlebury College 2000-2015, so these scenes are memorable to me. I wish you had made this a longer walk-around, rather than spending so much time looking inside stores. It is a wonderful town, indeed!

I went to a barbershop in a sketchy part of Peekskill.....decent Mexican restaurant was a block away....it was very random lol.
Moved here 15yrs ago from NYC. So glad I did. Peekskill is a suburb city w a small town vibe. Good food , art, theatre, and magnificent views. Best of all a diverse community United in just wanting to have a nice day.
I walk through this area when I went to hiking, I like about there are small town along each train station, such a Peekskill, Cold Spring, etc. And each place has own unique characters.
How long does it take to walk from the train station to the theatre and is it safe to do so in the evening? Asking as I may come in November.

During traveling I've took my breakfast 🍳🥐 to pekskeel train station park by river. I've watched the 2 miles long cargo train going nonstop for like 15 minutes on the other side of the river. I need a break from the NY city. Thinking about doing the same thing soon.
