I like the wreath! I would get it (it’s timeless and can be used many places) and I love your idea of hanging over your bed. It never hurts to bring color throughout the room so I think since you have Magnolia on the mantel, this would complete the look. Keep in mind, I’m just someone who loves decor, I have no formal training. 😂 P.S. Your niece’s room is adorable!

What should I buy if I’m going to paint a larger piece of furniture with chalk paint?

There're so many great brushes out there :) I love getting different ones and trying them on my projects!! Buying brushes is my weakness. I have hundreds, lol

I have a dough bowl that belonged to my grandmother, who was born around 1900. Based on the amount of wear on the bowl - there is a spot in the bottom where a hole is nearly worn through and there is a patch on the beneath that spot - it’s possible it belonged also to her mother and possibly her grandmother. I’m thrilled to have it.

We are about to have an ice cream social for our church next week. I don't know about your group, but ours (mostly the children) would have dribbles of ice cream and sauce all over that quilt. Hope it's washable.

I'm in Central Texas and the Walmart near me has very little. The whole town is a retail desert.

I used Behr Painters White in my living room/dinning, and it looks like a very light gray on my darker wall, but the wall that has a lot of light coming in looks more white, but I would say it has a grayish white. I also painted my bathroom and guest room Polar Bear and it does have a yellow undertone when compared to a white, but it looks just like a neutral white when you don't compare it. I love both, but love Painted white more, I feel like it has more personality plus everything is gray in those rooms.

The problem with this video and most others produced on paint colors is that it assumes viewers want to look at the face of the person who has made the video. I think that the person should be in the background talking, and that most of the visuals should be of the actual paint and how it looks and various colors.

Soothing color

Started out, in video, correctly pronouncing the word “griege” as GRAY-GGG. Then somewhere during video changed to pronouncing it as GREEE-GGG. The word is a combo of GRAY (with the long A sound) & BEIGE (also with a long A sound). There is no green, or long E sound, mentioned in it. So, why did it suddenly become GREEE-GGG? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been to my Walmart several times looking for My Texas Home items. Our store, Glen Ellyn, Illinois has very little. I keep checking, her things are daring! You and your daughters got cute things! Love your style!
