Lake Champlain trophy trout and salmon trolling with DB smelt January 2017
Starting off 2017 trolling Lake Champlain for big fish down deep between 30ft and 65ft down. The Lakers loved the red and black colored spoons that day. That salmon was VERY large and i have a 6ft leader in front of it. The whitish object is actually the invisa swivel, but it doesn't really disappear.
This will be my last video without the use of scent.

Most hits were on the firetiger pattern in size small. Had another leadcore line out that pulled up anyone that was snobby to the downrigger. Was trolling 40ft down in this video over shelves with bait nearby, although............ they had already eaten by the time i got there.

November Landlocked salmon trolling on Lake Champlain. Depth of camera was anywhere from 50ft to 25ft down. Weather was not as forecasted so it was a little harder to maintain a good speed. Targeting shelves adjacent to deep water was the tactic.

November fishing on the NY side using leadcore/full sink, handmade flies, a crank, and a few spoons. We got 7 in the boat but had plenty of bites and misses on a very busy day on the lake. lots of fishermen (about 30 boats) out there washing spoons next to us. All in all, a great day out.
