Mmm, not hearing the buzz here, shame that you're still having technical difficulties. Nice to see a podcast again! There's actually a few people on UA-cam who've been quiet for years, and they all seem to be popping up now for some reason 🤔 I wish we could get these more often! I don't tend to have the time to be on for streams 😅 I don't play Warhammer at all (haven't the budget, space or time), but I do like a good lore video 😁 EVERYBODY seems to play Orks at some point. I think they just find the fact that it's essentially, at it's core, 'space football hooligans', absolutely hilarious. They seem to be fun to play, but their sheer level of sculpting detail makes them a challenge to paint. Strife (I assume it's Strife? I'm hearing multiple different pronunciations of it, lol - and the auto-subtitles can't seem to work out if it's Stripes or Swife, lol), one at a time is absolutely why you've only got one done, lol. If you at least batch-paint the base layers, then you can come back and do the details later. My god, starting out and you're already doing 'go big or go home' 🤣 I've never heard of anyone using NFC in Warhammer 😮 Edge, there's a lot of ways to stream RPGs in an entertaining manner - just look at Harvey streaming Elden Ring. He usually has someone on voice chat to bounce off. Just dig around, you'll find there's a lot of people who stream RPGs, and they all have their own ways of doing it. I'm not saying stream all of them, keep some games for yourself. But when all you're doing is playing RPGs, it might be worthwhile using some of it for channel content, because otherwise it gets to months, maybe even years before you upload anything again, and UA-cam doesn't promote channels that don't upload. Shame I can't give multiple likes, get that red Tau army going :D

In all things 40k, I refer to Fish. In the protect missions, I half expected you to defend three Ashley's running around the map. Request for Sryth's son to say at the end of an episode; "Don't forget to like, sub and leave a comment below. All hail the waffle!"

59:00 - FINAL SPACE! And they COULD finish it, the problem is Warner (who were funding the show) has a habit of chucking really inventive animated shows away to get tax breaks. And that's exactly what happened. Olan Rogers (the creator, as well as voice of numerous characters on the show) has said he'll finish the show as a comic book, because it's the only thing Warner can't stop him making. And then he's kickstarter funding his next project (which is a spiritual successor called Godspeed - yes, he's playing it as close as he can to Final Space without it being Final Space). Even using the same voice actors where he can. I do hope they bring back David Tennant, it really surprised me to find out he voiced the Lord Commander of all things XD

From the title I was like; "49 minutes is a 'mini' rant?!" But I see it's mostly general chat while playing after the first few minutes, lol. Ohhh Blizzard... I was kinda interested but after finding out about crappy season passes and the exp nerfs and character restrictions etc I'm rather put off.

Edge still being alive is always good :D I'm still ill, into week 2 now, it succcckkkkssss! I'm VERY slowly going though Engage (too much bonding, skirmishing, stuff I prolly don't need to do on normal mode), just reached chapter 11. Much enjoying it though ^_^

Sorry that I'm not usually on at the same time you upload, but I'm looking forward to seeing more uploads 😁 When you say you don't wanna play something super shit... can it be at least bad? 🤣 FYI, Digimon Survive is already out, has been for a while. People were pissed off about it because of the Visual Novel elements. Phantasy Star is a Sega brand, so no, it was never on Nintendo consoles until Sega stopped making consoles (the first one to reach Nintendo consoles was Phantasy Star Online on the Gamecube. The original series is well worth a play though! I have to admit, I do tend to mix up Phantasy Star and Star Ocean though, they have similar aspects.

Illusion of Gaia is a SNES game, top down adventure RPG... kinda like the Mana series but if there was only one party member? Been a while since I played it, lol! Surprised Edge mentioned Legend of Legaia though, wow, that's an obscure game XD I don't think Sony would be interested in doing that again, especially as they had a massive falling out with Hidenori Shibao, the lead writer. It's kinda sad actually, because a lot of Shibao's work had good potential, but never really had a good developer to work on it. He died in 2018, so I'm assuming Sony will be happy to leave it forgotten. The fourth game in the Legacy of Kain series is Defiance =D We'd struggle with getting more out of the series because I think at least two prominent voice actors have passed, and I think there would be a lot of issues with fans rejecting the games due to the change in voice.
